kingsmeadFriday's Betway SA20 action comes from Kingsmead where the Durban Super Giants host a Sunrisers Eastern Cape side who have been badly out of sorts.

Durban Super Giants

They pulled off a remarkable 2 run home win over the Capitals in their opening match, Kane Williamson top scored with 60 and Mulder smashed 45 in their bat first total of 209/4 and although the Capitals put on 154 for their first wicket, the DSG bowlers came good.

A scheduled return with the Capitals at Centurion was washed out with no toss taking place and last time out they went don by 28 runs at home to JSK. Chasing 170 for victory in that game Quinton de Kock made 55 but only 2 other batsmen made it to double figures and the chase ended after 18 overs with DSG 141 all out.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape

It's been a torrid start for the two time champions who have lost all 3 of their matches by wide margins.

They started at home to MI Cape Town and they were beaten by 97 runs, all out 77 chasing 174/7. Next time out the Sunrisers posted 175/5 batting first away to the Royals with Markram making 82 but Paarl knocked it off for the loss of just 1 wicket in 18.4 overs. In their most recent match, away to the Capitals SEC were 26/5 at one stage and eventually posted 113 all out, 51 of which came from Marco Jansen. The Capitals completed the chase in 16 overs for a 6 wicket win.

The Verdict

I don't think we have seen anything like the best of DSG just yet whilst the Sunrisers have been to bad to be true and I'll swerve the match result market.

In the DSG v JSK game earlier in the week I went for over 14.5 sices and came up 1 short but I think it's a bet worth sticking with.
