MI Cape Town
MI booked their place in the final with a 39 run win over Paarl Royals in the first qualifier at St. Georges on Tuesday. Batting first they posted a hefty 199/4 (Rickelton 44, van der Dussen 40, Brevis 44 not out) and Boult, Rabada, Bosch and Khan all took 2 wickets a piece as the Royals chase ended on 160 all out.
MI Cape Town finished top of the log at the end of the round robin stage with a record of 7 wins, 2 defeats and 1 no result. They won all 5 of their matches at Newlands by wide margins and the 2 head to heads with the Sunrisers saw them come out on top by 97 runs at St. Georges and by 10 wickets in Cape Town
As far as the stats are concerned van der Dussen is MI's top run scorer with 370 runs in 10 innings, Rickleton is their next highest with 303 runs from 7 innings. With the ball Rashid Khan has taken 11 wickets in 10 matches, Corbin Bosch has 10 wickets from 7.

Sunrisers Eastern Cape
SEC are contesting their third final and looking for a third successive title. They had to take the long route to get here having contested the Eliminator and second Qualifier in Centurion on Wednesday and Thursday.
In the Eliminator SEC saw off JSK by 32 runs, easily defending 184/6. On Thursday they chased down 175 for victory against Paarl Royals with de Zorzi top scoring with 78 and Jordan Hermann's unbeaten 69 helped them get home with 4 balls to spare for an 8 wicket win.
The Sunrisers finished third in the standings in the round robin stage with a record of 5 wins and 5 defeats. Their form was streaky, losing their first 3 matches by wide margins before reeling off 4 straight wins. They wobbled again with 2 heavy defeats but finished up with a convincing win over Paarl Royals.
Marco Jansen has taken 17 wickets in 12 and he is top bowler in the tournament. Richard Gleeson and Liam Dawson have both taken 12 wickets. With the bat Markram has made 334 runs from 12 innings and Bedingham has made 236.

The Verdict
I've healthy respect for both bowling attacks but MI's top batting order has been different class and on form they deserve to be short price favourites. However at that price against the 2 champions I see little value in the match result betting market.
Hopefully the showers stay away and we avoid any interruptions and for a bet, although MI have tended to share the wickets around, I'm with Trent Boult to be top MI bowler and Dewald Brevis looks way overpriced to be their top batter.
Bet: Top MI Batter, Dewald Brevis at 13/2 with Betway
Top MI Bowler, Trent Boult at 27/10 with Betway
