Brighton 15/20 Draw 2.85/1 Notts Forest 36/10

Brighton are unbeaten have taken 8 points from their first 4 matches. They started with wins and Everton (3-0) and at home to Man United (2-1) before taking a point from a visit to Arsenal (1-1) who had Rice red carded in the first half. There were a few shock result's last week and whilst Brighton's failure to win at home to Ipswich (drew 0-0) was not the biggest, it was something of a turn up given their fine start.

Forest have an identical record to Brighton and they did pull off the result of Round 4 when they kept Liverpool at arms length at Anfield and came away with a 1-0 win. They have already won on the South coast this season, 1-0 at Southampton and home fixtures against Bournemouth and Wolves both ended in a 1-1 draw.

The Verdict:

Liverpool may have had an off day but Forest were excellent at Anfield last week and they have 2 clean sheets to their name away from home. I can see them taking a point from this match.

Man City 0.78/1 Draw 11/4 Arsenal 36/10

City are 4 wins from 4 and they top the standings as the only team to boast a 100% record in the EPL. Haaland has scored 9 of their 11 league goals so far including 2 hat tricks and he bagged a brace in a 2-1 home win over Brentford last weekend. City have also beaten Ipswich 4-1 in an earlier home fixture and on the road they won at Chelsea (2-0) and West Ham (3-1).

On Wednesday night Haaland found himself well marshalled by an Inter defence in the UCL in Manchester and a game of few thrills ended in a 0-0 draw.

Arsenal have won 3 and drawn 1 of their first 4 EPL matches and are in second place, 2 points behind City. They have kept clean sheets in all 3 of those wins, most recently 1-0 away to Spurs and their only dropped points came in a draw at home to Brighton, a game they played the majority of with 10 men. They won at Villa 2-0 and also at home to Wolves by the same scoreline.

The Gunners had to wait until Thursday for their first action in the UCL and they had keeper Raya to thank for saving a penalty when they came away from Atalanta with a 0-0 draw

Last season's head to heads saw this fixture end 0-0 and Arsenal were 1-0 winners in London.

On the teams news front watch out for news on De Bruyne who picked up a knock in midweek and Odegaard could remain out for the Gunners.

The Verdict:

Both sides fired blanks in the UCL in midweek and last season's head to heads were both tight. The fact City played at home on Wednesday and Arsenal had to travel to Italy on Thursday is in the champions favour I'm with City to edge this by a single goal margin.

Thomas Partey is the main candidate to pick up a card for the Gunners.

Bets: Winning margin, City by 1 goal at 26/10 with Betway

Player to be carded Thomas Partey at 15/10 with Betway
