Arsenal 9/20 Draw 34/10 Fulham 6.75/1

With 9 rounds of matches remaining second placed Arsenal are tasked with bridging a 12 point gap to league leaders Liverpool. After dropping points in a home defeat to West Ham and draws away to Forest and Man United they returned to the winners box when getting the better of Chelsea (1-0) in their most recent home fixture. The Gunners have progressed in the UCL, thrashing PSV 9-3 on aggregate but their last 5 league games have seen backers of under 2.5 goals collect.

Fulham are in 8th place and in the mix for European football next season. They suffered a huge disappointment at the weekend when they were beaten 3-0 at home by Crystal Palace in an FA Cup quarter final. They have won 5 and lost 4 of their last 9 EPL outings in their most recent league game they saw off Spurs 2-0 at Craven Cottage.

The Verdict

Saka is close to a return from injury for Arsenal and reports suggest he could play some part. The first league meeting this season finished 1-1 and Fulham are capable, at their best of giving Arsenal an awkward night but I think the Gunners will score and a small price boost on Martinella will satisfy my betting interest.

Bet: Anytime goalscorer Martinelli was 21/10 now 9/4 with Sportingbet

Wolves 1.45/1 Draw 9/4 West Ham 1.95/1

Wolves took another step towards securing their top flight status with a 2-1 win away to Southampton last time out and they have won 3 of their last 6 alongside 2 defeats and 1 draw. Their tally of 26 league points is 9 superior to Ipswich and Leicester.

West Ham are just 1 place better off than Wolves but they have 34 points against their name and are surely all but safe. Their form remains hit and miss but their last 2 road trips delivered a win at arsenal and draw at Everton. They also won the first league meeting with Wolves this season, 2-1 in December.

The Verdict

A difficult match to call in terms of the result but Bellegarde has been playing really well for Wolves and there may well be some blue sky in his price to register a shot on target.

Bet: Player shots on target Bellegarde 1or more at 1.75/1 with Sportingbet

Notts Forest 13/10 Draw 23/10 Man United 2/1

Forest's dream season continued at the weekend when they won a penalty shoot out in their FA Cup quarter final tie away at Brighton which had finished without a goal and they will come up against Man City in the semis. They return to league action in third place, now 4 points better off than Chelsea (fourth) and 4 shy of Arsenal who are second.

United have won 2 and drawn 2 of their last 4 league games in addition to progressing in the Europa League. They are 13th in the standings with 37 points and they now look to take revenge on Forest for a 3-2 defeat at Old Trafford in the first league meeting in December.

The Verdict

Another price boost interest here for me with Anthony Elenga taken to score anytime for Forest.

Bet: Anytime goalscorer Elanga was 4.75/1 now 5.25/1 with Sportingbet
