Romania 68/10 Draw 34/10 Netherlands 0.42/1
Romania were the surprise package in Group E which they topped courtesy of the numbers of goals they scored. All 4 nations finished with 4 points, Belgium came in second, Slovakia third and Ukraine missed out.
A first half equalizer from Marin from the penalty spot earned a 1-1 draw with Slovakia and saw Romania through to the knockout rounds for the first time in more than 20 years. Romania were spirited but very much second best in their 2-0 defeat to Belgium in their second outing. They were the underdogs for their opening match against Ukraine but ran out comfortable 3-0 winners with Nicolae Stanciu, Razvan Marin and Denis Dragus on target.
The Netherlands needed the best third place finisher safety net in order to take their place in the knockout rounds. A record of 1 win, 1 draw and 1 defeat saw them come in 2 points behind Austria and 1 shy of France whilst Poland were eliminated.
The Dutch lost 3-2 to Austria in their final group match, they never led and although Gakpo and Depay twice brought them level Austria ran out deserved winners. They played out a goalless draw with France in their second group outing, a game of few chances although the Netherlands had a goal chalked off in controversial circumstances. Cody Gakpo scored the first half equalizer for the Dutch against Poland and Wout Weghorst came off the bench and almost immediately found what proved to be the winner on 83 minutes as they came out on top 2-1 in their first match.
The Verdict:
The Netherlands have blown hot and cold but could easily grab a goal or two but more on gut feel than anything I'm siding with Romania to contribute to the scoring in a game of 3 goals or more in total.

Austria 9/10 Draw 23/10 Turkey 32/10
Austria recovered from losing their first match of the tournament with back to back wins to top Group D with 6 points ahead of France with 5 and the Netherlands with 4 and Poland came in fourth.
An own goal plus strikes from Schimd and finally Sabitzer 10 minutes from time saw Austria edge out the Dutch 3-2 in their final group match. Gernot Trauner gave Austria a ninth minute lead against Poland in their second match and although they were pegged back before half time further goals from Christoph Baumgartner and Marko Arnautovic (penalty) gave Austria a deserved 3-1 win. Austria made France work hard in a 1-0 defeat in their opener but clear chances were few and far between and Max Wober was the unlucky man, heading into his own net late in the first half.
Turkey finished as runners up to Portugal in Group F. Both teams finished with 2 wins and 1 defeat and Portugal had the better goal difference, Georgia secured one of the best third place finisher positions and Czech Republic were eliminated.
A 2-1 win over Czech Republic saw Turkey reach the last 16 with Cenk Tosun scoring the winner in injury time. The Czech's had a man sent off after 20 minutes and another in injury time and Hakan Calhanoglu gave Turkey lead but they were pegged back before Tosun popped up at the death. Turkey went down 3-0 to Portugal in their second outing and in the opening group match a cracking goal from Mert Muldur put them in front against Georgia who levelled before half time. Real Madrid's Arda Guler put Turkey back in front and after riding their luck Kerem Akturkoglu capitalized on Georgia pushing everyone forward to make the final score 3-1.
The Verdict:
Austria thrashed Turkey 6-1 in a friendly international in March this year when Michael Gregoritsch scored a hat trick. This is where it matters most but to me
Austria look a well drilled side and given Gregoritsch was on the bench for the win over the Dutch I will go with the impressive Romano Schmid to add to his tally.
Bets: Anytime goalscorer Romano Schmid at 52/10 with BoyleSports
