Sunday's Euro 2024 matches will determine the outcome of Group A as Switzerland take on Germany and Scotland clash with Hungary

Switzerland 4/1 Draw 29/10 Germany 13/20
Host nation Germany have 2 wins from 2 and are already guaranteed to qualify for the knockout rounds and if they avoid defeat here they will finish top of the group. Switzerland are well placed with 4 points which historically has been enough to progress although if they lose here they will have to wait and see how other results go.
The Swiss drew 1-1 with Scotland last time out with Xherdan Shaqiri equalizing after they had fallen behind early doors. They started with a 3-1 win over Hungary, Kwadwo Duah and Michel Aebischer put Switzerland in control and after Hungary reduced the deficit Breel Embolo sealed victory in injury time.
Germany's 2-0 win over Hungary came courtesy of Musiala in the first half and Gündoğan in the second. Earlier Germany flew out of the blocks against Scotland in the first match of the tournament. Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala had the 2-0 up inside 20 minutes and Kai Havertz made it 3-0 from the penalty spot on half time with the Scots reduced to 10 men. Niclas Fullkrug made it 4-0 midway through the second period and at the death Scotland got a consolation through a Rudiger own goal before Emre Can made it 5-1 and that was how it finished.
The Verdict:
This one looks hard to gauge to me. The host nation will want to top the group with a 100% record but could rotate, the Swiss will want to rubber stamp at least second spot but also know a win will see them go through. Then there is the draw factor which will leave the top 2 unchanged.
I could be wide of the mark but no more than 2 yellow cards could be a runner with players looking to avoid treading a suspension tightrope in the knockout rounds.
Bets: Total cards under 2.5 at 1.35/1 with Sportingbet
Scotland 16/10 Draw 26/10 Hungary 15/10
Scotland are third in this group with 1 point and Hungary have yet to open their account. Victory for Scotland would likely be enough but if they lose then Hungary come into the mix as a potential best third place finisher and Scotland will go home.
Scotland kept themselves in the mix with a 1-1 draw with Switzerland in their second group match. McTominay gave them the lead, the Swiss were soon level and there was no further scoring.
Ryan Porteous was the man to pick up a first half red card in the 5-1 defeat to Germany in the opening game but they way the game was panning out it was hard to see any way back for Scotland and their consolation came from a late own goal.
Hungary need a small miracle and the the 2-0 defeat to Germany left them rock bottom with no points. They also went down 3-1 to Switzerland in their first action of the tournament. They were 2-0 down by half time but pulled a goal back through Barnabas Varga on 66 minutes and the Swiss made the game safe in injury time.
The Verdict:
I fancy goals here, Scotland's defensive resources are stretched but they have a big prize to aim for and whilst Hungary's chances of staying in the tournament are slim they may as well go for it.
