Tournament Preview

The 16th edition of the Mayakoba Classic gets underway in Mexico with a strong field assembled once more in 2022. The event was the first to be played in Mexico on the PGA Tour and with a prize fund of over $7 million, it has developed into one of the biggest events on the calendar. PGA stalwarts Matt Kuchar and Pat Perez just two of the winning alumni at the event that continues to attract a stellar field from the US and beyond.

Plenty of PGA Tour regulars make up the field in Mexico this week with precious ranking points and prize money on offer:-

Having just been knocked off his perch at the top of the world rankings, Scottie Scheffler will be keen to put in another stellar performance here in Mexico.
