Winning Form selections for all races from @Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday 16th November where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

 

 

Race 1

This is a competitive Maiden Plate and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is CHARLIE BUCKET from the Paddy Kruyer stable. He produced a promising debut effort over this C&D. He showed good pace and stayed on to finish third. The son of One World would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, he may be the one to side with. 

ELSINORE made the expected natural improvement when second over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. He will love the extra 200m on offer and is one of the leading contenders. 

CORK BAY has produced two good runs to date. He has been gelded which may have done the trick. The son of Rafeef merits healthy respect.

Race 2

REAL STUNNER caught the eye when second over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. He produced a strong finish but was touched off by Diablo. The son of Oratorio will be at home over the extra distance on offer. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from the wide draw and will be mowing down the frontrunners. 

LANDOFTHERISINGSUN‘S last three starts have been good. It must be noted that the horse that finished third in his last outing has come out and won since. He has been gelded which may have done the trick. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces. 

MARINE MERCHANT has finished third in both his efforts to date. It must be noted that the form of his last outing has been franked. He jumps from a good draw of three and merits healthy respect. . 

Race 3

SNOW PILOT is the best bet on the programme. He won a good race in his seasonal debut over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. Richard Fourie is likely to take him to the front from his good draw of three and he should take a power of beating. 

BJORN IRONSIDE challenged strongly over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time, but found one too good in the form of Dumbledore. He would have come on from the run and with just 53kgs on his back, he may be the one to fill the exacta spot. 

WILLIAM IRON ARM returns from a 17-week break, during which time he changed stables and he was gelded. He is at his best over further, but has class about him and will be doing his best work at the finish. 

Race 4

SURGE OF POWER ran a fair race over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. His effort when fourth in the Grade 3 Langerman, three runs ago catches the eye. The son of Potala Palace will be at home over this distance. He will be at peak fitness and from his handy draw of six, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure. 

SAN PEDRO ran a gutsy race when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. He is having his peak run and should be hard to peg back. 

POWERANDTHEGLORY was an easy winner when shedding his maiden tag at the second time of asking. He returns from a 24-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. He takes on stronger, but has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand. 

Race 5

GREEN MANDARIN was his own worst enemy in the Listed Betway Algoa Cup last time as he over raced in the early stages. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. He is unbeaten from three starts over this C&D and will be looking to keep that record intact. 

GIMME MORE TIME has consistent form lines to his name. It must be noted that multiple horses from his last form line have come out and won since. The son of Gimmethegreenlight will be running on and he is a threat. 

MAGIC VERSE has fair recent form lines to his credit. It must be noted that Oliver has come out and won again since. He has cracked a good draw of four in this small field, and should have a say. 

 

 

Race 6

GROOVEJET has good consistent form lines to his credit. He took the lead at the 100m mark last time before getting caught late by Join The Dots. The son of Silvano meets a similar line-up this afternoon and he can notch up his second-career victory. 

ALADDIN‘S LAMP finished 0.35 lengths behind the top selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish. 

TOTHEMOONANDBACK was running on when 0.3 lengths behind the top choice in the race referred to above. He has an awkward draw of seven, but Iannish Taka is likely to settle him near the rear of the field and he will be mowing down the frontrunners. 

Race 7

HLUHLUWE returns from a 16-week break and is making his seasonal debut. He was not disgraced in the Grade 1 The HKJC Champions Cup last time. He should have finished closer to the winner that day. He may have bigger plans for the season and this outing will bring him on nicely. The son of Trippi would have matured during his time off the track and if fit, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure. 

ROYAL AUSSIE ran a good race when third in the Grade 1 Mercury Sprint last time. He finished second behind MONTIEN in this race last year. With a bit of luck in running, he can go one better this year. 

MONTIEN ran a good race when second in the Grade 3 Kuda Matchem Stakes last time. He would have come on from the run and should strip fitter. He won this race last year and has a good chance of defending his title. 

Race 8

This is a competitive Class 5 field and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is VERONIQUE from the Greg Ennion stable. She finished 0.1 lengths behind ROYAL LYTHAM last time. She is 0.5kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. She will be doing her best work at the finish. 

ROYAL LYTHAM ran a good race when third over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. If confirming her recent improvement, she should be involved at the finish. 

SHIPINDANI won a game race in her last start over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. The daughter of One World takes on stronger, but she has plenty of scope and should give a good account of herself. 

Race 9

BABELICIOUS has produced two good runs since winning her maiden over 1400m. She stayed on when third over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. The daughter of Var has ability and she has a winning chance.

I’M SO PRITTI followed up her easy maiden victory with a good win over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. The daughter of Vercingetorix is in a good space and can bring up the hat-trick. 

CAPTAIN‘S DESTINY was given a peach of a ride when winning her last start over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. She takes on stronger company this afternoon but carries a handy galloping mass of 54kgs and should give a good account of herself. 

Race 10

CATCH A PENNY has produced two good second place finishes to date. She raced from just off the pace last time, but found one too good in the form of Pink Pigeon. Chad Little makes his comeback and he has a perfect opportunity to return on a winning note. 

WILD APPLAUSE is better than her last start over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. She ran a good race on debut over 1250m. The daughter of Vercingetorix has plenty of scope and she is one of the leading contenders. 

BACK AT THE GEORGE produced a typical second run after a rest last time. She is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. She is likely to race on the speed and can go close
