She set the pace in her last two outings over this c&d and was only collared late and will be hoping to go one better this afternoon. She has a wide draw to deal with, but retains the services of Anton Marcus, so she will get all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

Jockey: A Marcus - Trainer: Adam Marcus

AL'S MY DADDY did best that day and he has cracked pole position. He gets Anton Marcus in the saddle today and may be able to exit the maiden ranks at the fourth time of asking.

 
Race 7: WALDORF ASTORIA (5)
Jockey: R Fourie - Trainer: J Snaith

WALDORF ASTORIA has finished second in her last two starts and will be hoping to go one better today. She finished strongly to just fail by a diminishing head in her last outing over seven furlongs and is sure to enjoy the extra distance of today's race. She is well drawn and it is always encouraging when Richard Fourie keeps faith in the ride.

VODKA LIME followed up her penultimate win over the c&d with another gutsy display next time out. Both of her wins to date have been recorded over the c&d and she should be involved in the finish once again. She does take on the boys, but she will ensure that they know that they have been in a race.

This is an extremely open F&M MR94 Handicap and some caution is advised. The tentative first choice goes to MISS PLUMCAKE who returns from a 12-week rest. She jumped awkwardly in her last outing over a mile and never recovered. On her previous form, she should be respected in this line-up starting from a handy draw.
