The SA T20 League resumes after a short break on Thursday with the first action taking place in Durban where the Durban Super Giants take on MI Cape Town. We take a look at the game from a betting angle.
Let’s start with a look at the log where the Durban Super Giants probably have to win their 3 remaining games and even then they are unlikely to make the playoffs. They currently sit on 8 points from 7 matches and have lost their last 4 games in a row and if you do think they can make a run to win the Tournament you can back them at 25/1.
MI Cape Town are currently sitting 1 position above them in 5th place, but on 13 points having lost 3 of their last 4 matches. A defeat here would certainly put a massive dent into the qualification hopes of the pre-tournament favourites, but now trading at 13/2.

DURBAN SUPER GIANTS
The Durban Super Giants last match took place at the Wanderers where they lost the toss and were sent into bat. They scored what looked a pretty competitive 178 for 6 in their 20 overs with Heinrich Klaasen once again the star with the bat getting 65 off 48 and Jason Holder showing some much needed form with the willow ending on 28 not out off 12 balls. Kyle Mayers also contributed 28 off 15 at the top end of the innings.
The Joburg Super Kings managed to chase the score down in the last over, but with 8 wickets in hand and Topley was the pick of the bowlers with his 1 for 19 in 4 overs.
MI CAPE TOWN
MI Cape Town’s last game was at home to the Pretoria Capitals and they won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Capitals scored a 182 for 8 in their 20 overs, but Rashid Khan with his 3 for 16 off 4 overs the pick of the bowlers and Jofra Archer also bowled well with 3 for 37 off his 4.
MI Cape Town never looked like chasing the score down and they were bowled out for 130 in the 19th over. Brevis with 46 off 30 was the top scorer.

Durban Super Giants 11/10
MI Cape Town 15/20
This match almost has a knock-out feel to it and a defeat for either team could end their chances of qualifying for the last 4. If pushed I would go with MI Cape Town at 15/20, but I am rather going to have a look at some of the Exotic Markets on offer.
Suggested Bet: Batsman Most Runs, Brevis over de Kock at 1/1
De Kock has looked out of form and I think the value here is backing the teenager to score more runs. Brevis went through a bit of a bad patch, but appears to have found his form again.
Suggested Bet: Durban Super Giants, Over 1 Total over 5.5 runs at 8/10
With Mayers in upfront we can expect some lusty hitting in the first over. With a bit of luck he can land this one for us with one big swing.
