Magesi take on Kaizer Chiefs in our featured Betway Premiership match on Wednesday and after a promising start to the season Chiefs have lost their last two league games.

Magesi

Magesi found it tough going in the early stages of the season, losing at Sekhukhune (1-0) and at home to Polokwane (2-0). Since then they have turned things around and they have kept 3 consecutive clean sheets in the league. A 1-0 win away to Golden Arrows was followed by 0-0 draws at home to Royal AM and most recently away to Cape Town City. Throw in a surprise 3-2 win away to Pirates in the Carling Knockout and they now head into one of their their biggest matches of the season in great shape.

Chiefs

Chiefs gave their fans plenty of cause for optimism in winning their first 2 league games, away to Gallants (2-1) and then at Amazulu (3-1). To be fair they played well in a controversial 2-1 defeat at Sundowns in their third outing but last time out they went down 1-0 at Supersport, a team they had thrashed 4-0 in the Carling Knockout just days earlier.

The Betting

At the time of writing Magesi are 39/10 to win the game with the draw at 23/10 and Chiefs can be backed at 15/20

A game of 3 goals or more is 1.34/1 and it's 1.17/1 for both teams to score

The Verdict:

Magesi have been well drilled defensively in their recent matches whilst Chiefs were wasteful in attack last weekend so it's an interesting match up and there is more pressure on the visitors than the hosts.

I'll take a small bet on the HT/FT market and go with a draw at the interval before Chiefs come out on top in the second half.
