A SUNDAY DOUBLE UP
Posted 26 Jan 10h04
I am going to resist the temptation to chase those Stormers losses and have settled on a double on Sundays action
Glasgow v Connacht should be a good game and it appears as though the rain will come after the game. Glasgow are -5.5 but I like the over 43.5 points.
Ulster should hammer this Zebre side. The line has moved from -21.5 to -24.5 and I am not sure thats enogh. The points line is 46.6 and it looks like some rain about.
This is likely the final post of the weekend (of course if overs misses in game 1 I could be back LOL) so look out for next weeks rugby blog which will be up Monday morning.
BET: Double over 43.5 at 0.88/1 Glagow game onto Ulster -24.5 at 19/20. 3 units at 2.66/1 at Betxchange
WE GO AGAIN
Posted 26 Jan 08h58
On the face of it not a bad day strike rate wise yesterday and the overs on Sharks and Munster games were a nice end to the day but I went big on the Stormers whose woeful performance means I am well behind heading into Sunday.
2 games today and will be back with thoughts shortly.
DRAGONS v MUNSTER
Posted 25 Jan 10h54
The handicap moved from -8.5 Munster to -11.5 earlier in the week and has been stable since.
Once again I find myself looking at the points line in the mid 40's.
Conditions don't look too bad and I am once again heading overs.
BET: 3 units over 45.5 at 19/20 at WSB
LIONS v BULLS
Posted 25 Jan 10h46
BET: 2 units either team by 7 or less incl. draw at 27/20 at Betxchange
CARDIFF v SHARKS
Posted 25 Jan 10h44
BET: 4 units over 44.5 points at 9/10 at Pokerbet
SCARLETS v EDINBURGH
Posted 25 Jan 10h11
Both sides are hard hit by 6 Nations call ups and I must say I am finding this a tricky game to call. The Scarlets backline looks a bit thin but they have a pack which has not been that disrupted and a very good recent home record.
Keeping this simple and going Scarlets win.
The points line is 43.5 and if pushed I would go overs as it looks like being clear with rain only arriving after the game.
BET: 3 units Scarlets win at 17/20 at Pokerbet
LEINSTER v STORMERS
Posted 24 Jan 22h54
This game has it's own preview and here are the bets
BET: 5 units Stormers +12.5 at 10/11 at Sportingbet
BET: 1 units Stormers win at 5/1 at WSB
OSPREYS V BENETTON
Posted 24 Jan 14h11
The handicap hasn't moved much all week and is currently -6.5 or -7.5 Ospreys depending on where you shop. The points line is 43.5 and the forecast looks gloomy with rain and wind about.
Both sides are impacted by 6 Nations call ups but benetton are comfortably the hardest hit and I like the Ospreys to beat this handicap to get our weekend off to a flyer.
BET: 4 units Ospreys -6.5 at 10/11 at Betxchange

MONEY FOR THE STORMERS
Posted 23 Jan 19h26
Most of the handicaps are stable but the Stormers have shortened from +14.5 to +10.5 away to Leinster on confirmation that Leinster will have more than a full starting XV of players missing.

A NEW WEEK BUT NOT EASY TO HANDICAP
Posted 20 Jan 08h00
I am quite worn out after a hectic weekend of Investec Champions Cup action. The newsletter bet Bulls over 5.5 tries arrived with ease (get on my mailing list here) and I also hit the over 5.5 Racing tries hard but Sunday was a shocker with all of my bets going missing.
A small profit overall but a feeling that things should have been better.
Here are the fixtures

-
21:35: Ospreys vs Benetton Treviso
Saturday
-
14:45: Lions vs Bulls

-
19:00: Leinster Rugby vs Stormers

Sunday
-
19:30: Ulster Rugby vs Zebre Rugby
