BettingDiaryWith the Rugby World Cup Final now firmly on the horizon we take a look at some of the betting options for punters on Thursday in our Daily Diary.

SOCCER

It has been a busy week for soccer punters and things continue on Thursday night with a number of La Liga matches taking place.

Eibar are at home to Villarreal and bookmakers have this as a tight clash with the home side 18/10, the draw 47/20 and Villarreal 31/20.

Mallorca are at home to Osasuna and this is another game which looks competitive with the home team 33/20, the draw 39/20 and the visitors, Osasuna, 2/1 for the victory. There are, of course, a host of Exotic Markets on the match including over or under 2.5 goals, first goal scorer and half-time / full-time.

The late kick-off sees Getafe at home to Granada and the home team are just shy of even money at 9/10, with the draw 9/4 and Granada 37/10. For us Getafe rates as the bet of the night at 9/10.

There is just one match in Serie A on Thursday with AC Milan hosting Spal 2013. Milan are currently in mid-table in 13th position and they are 5/10 to see off Spal who sit second from bottom and with only 1 win in their last 5. Milan’s form hasn’t been much better also only winning 1 of their last 5 games. Spal are 23/4 to cause an upset and the draw is on offer at 13/4.

TENNIS

The ATP Paris Masters continues on Thursday and our pick of the fixtures is Grigor Dimitrov against Dominic Thiem. Dimitrov is 5/4 with Thiem priced at 13/20 and we think that Dimitrov could be ready to pull a minor upset out of the bag.

GOLF

We covered the HSBC Champions Tournament in Wednesday’s Diary and it gets going in the early hours of Thursday morning and you can click here for in-running prices.

The Bermuda Championship gets going later in the day and Alex Noren is a 14/1 favourite with Lanto Griffin also on offer at 14/1. In what is not surprisingly in a WGC event weekend a fairly weak field. South African fans may fancy though Branden Grace who will be looking to return to form at a price of 45/1 a win and 9/1 for a Top 5 finish.

HORSE RACING

Local Horse Racing takes place at the Vaal Racetrack, an 8 race card heading off at 12:40 and set to finish at 16:55.

In the 7th Race, favourite No. 3, Fly Away looks potential Pick Six banker material at 13/20 although No. 7, Tropic Sun at 12/10 could also give some cheek.
