BettingDiaryThe Mugello racetrack, Italy is the venue for this weekend’s Tuscan Grand Prix and we take a look at the race from a betting angle.

One problem this Formula 1 season has had is that it has been very predictable with Mercedes running away with things, but last week in the Italian Grand Prix punters were handed some shock results. Pierre Gasly won the race ahead of Carlos Sainz Jnr with Lance Stroll completing the podium. Big favourite, Lewis Hamilton, finished 7th with his teammate, Valtteri Bottas finishing 5th.

It was another disappointing weekend for Ferrari with neither Leclerc nor Vettel finishing the race.

There is no track history to go on for this race as Formula 1 has never been raced at this circuit. That is not to say that the track will be totally new to F1 drivers as it has been used for testing in the past. The track is known to be incredibly quick and this could make for some exciting racing.

The Tuscan Grand Prix will be the first one to allow fans to watch the race, all be it, they will be limited to 3000.

Lewis Hamilton 9/20

Valtteri Bottas 4/1

Max Verstappen 5/1

50/1 and better the balance

SUGGESTED BET: Max Verstappen win at 5/1

I am going to go with Verstappen this week as I think he offers some value. He has been racing well this season and while Hamilton is a worthy favourite, I would rather take 10 times the price and back Verstappen.

Remember this bet comes with a money back special should he run second. See banner below

There are a host of other markets to bet on including which driver will finish in the points, fastest qualifier as well as whether the safety car will be deployed during the race.
