Four English Premier League matches take place on Tuesday and we take a look at each game including Spurs v Newcastle and West Ham v Man United

Prices quoted are correct at the time of publication but subject to change.

Chelsea v Leeds

Chelsea were 3-1 winners at Wolves at the weekend with Cole Palmer scoring a first half hat trick. Other recent league results comprise of 3 London derby wins, at home to Brentford and West Ham either side of a victory at Palace. Chelsea are now 4 points clear of Liverpool in fifth place and 1 point behind fourth place Man United.

Leeds were 3-1 winners at home to Forest on Friday night to move up to 29 points, 6 clear of third bottom West Ham. Leeds form in December and the bulk of January was very encouraging including home wins over Palace and Fulham and some very creditable draws but they were no match for league leaders Arsenal in their penultimate outing when they crashed to a 4-0 defeat.

Cole Palmer looks back to his best, Chelsea may well rotate but given Palmer only played an hour of the win at Wolves I'm thinking he will start, and hopefully score.

Everton v Bournemouth

Everton scored 2 late goals to win 2-1 at Fulham on Saturday. Prior to that a late equalizer secured a 1-1 draw at Brighton and they are unbeaten in their last 5 with 2 wins and 3 draws and are now eighth with 37 points.

Bournemouth’s 1-1 draw at home to Villa means they have now taken 11 points from the last 15 available and they are 3 points and 3 places behind Everton in the standings. They won their most recent road trip 2-0 at Wolves and other recent wins came at home to Spurs and Liverpool (both 3-2).

This looks a typically tough Everton game to call. Dewsbury-Hall was back on the scoresheet at the weekend and his boosted price to follow up with another here took the eye.

Spurs v Newcastle

Spurs went down 2-0 at Man United last weekend and Romero’s red card means he will sit on the next 4 matches. Prior to that the proverbial game of two halves saw injury hit Spurs come from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 at home to Man City. Their only league win in the last 10 came at Palace just after Christmas and Spurs are down in fifteenth position, 6 points better off than third bottom West Ham.

Last week was a bad one for Newcastle, a 4-1 defeat at Liverpool in the EPL, an EFL Cup semi final exit at Man City and then a 3-2 home defeat to Brentford at the weekend. They are 4 points better off than Spurs but they have only taken 1 point from their last 4 league games.

Both sides have done well in Europe but league wins have been very hard to come by and neither are at full strength. From what I've seen of Spurs of late Xavi Simons has been putting in a shift and perhaps he is one to note in goalscorer markets.

Bet: Anytime goalscorer Xavi Simons at 9/2 with Pokerbet

West Ham v Man United

West Ham have won 3 of their last 4, most recently getting the better of Burnley 2-0 away from home. Their only recent defeat came 3-2 at Chelsea, a game they led 2-0 at half time whilst they took maximum points from a trip to Spurs and a home fixture against Sunderland. West ham remain third from bottom but with 23 points they are only 3 behind fourth bottom Forest. .

After their 2-0 home win over Spurs it’s now 4 wins from 4 for Carrick. United have also beaten Fulham 3-2 at Old Trafford which followed a 2-0 home win over City in the derby and a 3-2 win at Arsenal. United are now fourth, 1 point above Chelsea and 3 shy of third placed Villa.

West Ham's new found form could cause problems for United but they do have a couple of knocks which their coach refused to be specific about in his pre-match presser. With the form of his fellow strikers Amad Diallo flies under the radar a touch but he is also in form and can hopefully reward goalscorer backers

Bet: Anytime goalscorer Amad Diallo at 23/10 with Sportingbet
