lost one pick to scratching so will add my back-up -
RACE 12 - BALZI ROSSI @ 16/1 ew.
looks well weighted in this field and positive jockey booking and fair draw.

Keeping stakes low today:
Race 1 - Gimmesumluv (15/1) - Stable in hot form with three winners and two 3rd places from their last 5 runners. Should improve from debut run. Nice e/w
Race 2 - Monkeys Weddings (3/1) - Chance if one ignores previous run. Favorite, Space Mission, drops back to a sprint trip. Will take my chances on MW
Race 3 - Winds of Change (75/20) - Back to a sprint, always thereabouts. Is 0.5kg worse off with Bjorn Ironside but has had two extra runs after their last meeting. Rifle Queen (15/10) made a good comeback in a Listed Race a couple of weeks ago. 2nd run after a rest might catch her out.
Race 4 - Small field stayers race. Taking my chances with Battleground (9/2) who goes this trip just 5 days after a good third behind One More Star over 2000m. Again the Zackey/Houdalakis combo.
Will post should I find something else for the remainder of the card.

Cheers Jacques, still recovering from yesterday, had a very quick scan on Sunday and will have smalls on these
R5 Thambi 17/2 MR had been dropping but keeps me waiting as have followed for a few runs now
R6 Lady Sabrina 10/1 consistent sort so think ill give me a run in a wide open race
R7 Glamorous Lady 25/2 another MR dropper, Rschel takes a bit more off too but horrible draw to navigate
R8 Pretty Anaiia, grand old mare, changed yards and 1 draw this time

My wrap of Saturday, was taking a pasting and hit the post with a couple of decent priced seconds but results picked up later with See It Again, Babelicious and especially Time For Love (big thanks to Southpaw there) then the roughie that was backed in the last that ran 2nd and me and wife ended up 22nd in the Punters Challenge
Unfortunately a couple of late calls to get involved in a PA (which bombed) and JP2 (that never covered my stake) meant some of the profits were eaten into.
General observations, R2 winner Note to Self looked every inch a derby horse on that showing and Manna Fortune is just an amazing story, really admire how he has bounced back.
All in all, win, lose or draw an enjoyable day in front of the television
