Other Sports 23-29 March

I will give this a try, and hope it's okay to open a thread like that.

Betting forums are kinda dead in Europe. This place is the only form I check on a regular basis, even I just know the basics rules of rugby 😁

The sports which I follow most, and might be able to make some bucks or at least not lose as much  as when I bet ALL sports, is icehockey.

So I will try to post once in a while, and hopefully can find more winners than losers and contribute smth to the community!

I mainly bet on Europe leagues (Russia,Finland,Austria and so on).

Both games start in one hour 17:30 CET.

They were far superior in the regular season. Now they are 2-0 behind in the first round of the playoffs. Like a must win game today. And I hope they get the job done.

Lukko Rauma - HPK

Lukko to win reg.time ~1.7 5/10
Lukko moneyline 1.4x 8/10

Lukko simply the better team for me. Can't see HPK to take a road win here...

Worst day to start to post here 😬 but maybe should have said I had Lions Under and Stormers game Over on the weekend, so cold as Siberia....

Jyp lost 10 games at home of 30 all season, Lukko just 7 of 30.

Pelicans and HPK won just 11 of 30 away games all season.

Jyp even lost 2 home games in a row now. Well playoffs have their own rules, but both were stronger all year and playing at home.

Really didn't expect both of them to lose.

They won the reg.season with 105 points.

It's place 1 vs. place 16. 

CSK VVS won 24, 16 draw and lost 22 of 62 games, finished with 72 points.

Novokuznetsk won the last 10 competitive matches against them. 3 out of the best 11 scorers play for Novokuznetsk, and all of them played in the last game. They have many experienced guys who played in KHL teams before.

The crazy thing is, both of their last matched against CSK VVS ended 0-0!!! They won both after OT/SO.

But ok, the play at home, are the stronger team and I think especially the odds on -1.5 are decent.

I don't like to play anything below 1.8 but taking the reg.time win too, as my run was quite awful lately.

They chance of another tight game? Might be there, but well, I think they beat them in reg time more often than this happens again.

 

Funny how there hasn't been any betting in Australia on Russian or Belarussian matches of any sport since the war in Ukraine.

Magnitogorsk and Yaroslavl both are very strong teams and very strong at home. I trust them to get the job done in the home opener of the series.

Minsk is a offensive powerhouse. When their offense gets going they are hard to stop. Dynamo showed some form lately. But the home factor is kinda big in those playoff games. 

With Anas, Limoges and Pinchuk they have 3 guys inside the top 6 leading scorers. No doubt Dynamo can keep up to them on a good day, but they won just 1 game out of 4 against them this season. It was the last game between them. I think Minsk is ready for their home opener and to start with a win today.

That's the case for most sportsbooks in Europe too, bet365 etc...all of them don't have any Russian sports since the war started.

Just bet-at-home and stake the ones I used and know they offer Russian sports. There might be few others of course.

Ufa isn't that strong this year in my opinion. Last year they had Leivo and he scored at will for them. Jekaterinburg a very decent team, they won the first game and I think they also get the job done in the 2nd home game. Draw always a possibility but well.

KAC the club is located in Klagenfurt, where I lived most of the time of my life. They won both their home games, lost both away games.

On Monday the 3rd home game, they gave away the win with horrible mistakes, not many expected Fehervar to get smth from that game. 

So now, backs against the wall. If Fehervar wins they are out. KAC is missing 2 good players, but well for the first time it's like Fehervar has to win and could advance.

KAC the better team, not sure why bookies made them such favourites today, as the didn't play very good in the first 2 games away from home.

Just a small "fan" play as I think they won't be eliminated today.

Klagenfurt is beautiful and so is the entire area of Kaernten. I visited a couple of times on holidays.

Agree  Many lakes and mountains very close to each other makes it a beautiful landscape. Unfortunately we aren't good at rugby, a sport which I would love to watch every weekend. (Maybe because we don't have it on a professional level).

Ufa proved me wrong with a shutout win in Jekaterinburg. One of the closest series in the 1st round I think.

Kazan got the job done.
Skelleftea woke up very late.
Zürich without a doubt.

And KAC an embarrassment.No grit, no power, no fight in an do or die game.

Might change one day, but let's hope not today.

Magnitogorsk way better, Novosibirsk just made the playoffs this season. So most likely outcome is another home win, question might be by how many. Odds not that great but still the game I favor the most of all 4 today.

Swedish Hockey League

Växjö and Rögle to win incl.OT

Växjö won after an early 0-2 deficit.

Rögle was up 5-0!!! after 18 Minutes, 5-3 after 2 periods, and managed to lose in Overtime.

That's like being up 5 converted tries after 20 Minutes and losing from here.

I don't know when I ever won a bet in such a lucky way, surely I did, but is just embarrassing when you run bad already, it's like the icing on the cake..and you feel ready to quit 😬

Don't know why CSKA should be a favourite away from home. They didn't have an convincing season, neither did SKA. 

Of course in those big leagues it's almost impossible to have an advantage against the bookies, we only have early in small leagues with *** limits. 😁

SKA surely can win here. They have lots of skilled players who can make a difference. I think they were in both away games but didn't take anything from them.

So it's 0-2 in the series, almost do or die today.

And those odds are surely worth a try with them playing at home!

Sweden SHL

Malmö - Skelleftea 19:00 CET

Malmö gave them a scare last game, they led 2-0 before the 3rd period. Skelleftea came back and took the win in the last 2 minutes.

Hope they come out ready to play today and take another win.

Lulea - Frölunda 19:00 CET

Frölunda incl.OT ~1.84 1/10

Series tied, Frölunda roasted them 7-0 last game. Not that easy to win in Lulea, but Lulea was stronger last year's than they are now. Small play.

Kookoo 2nd best team after reg.season. They and Tappara had a little break so I hope they aren't rusty.

Pelicans also surprised in first round but Kookoo is strong at home and I hope they take advantage in game 1.

Both games so far had plenty of goals. Could also be possible today. Ambri can take a commanding 3-0 series lead and I think they will because they play at home and are a bit better than Ajoie.

Fribourg lost the first 2 games but came back in convincing style. Series tied 2-2 so a big chance to get another win at home and take a 3-2 series lead. Fribourg was the 2nd best team after reg.season, Rapperswil 7th. And usually they are very strong at home.
