Super Rugby Pacific Rd 14, URC Rd 18 + other rugby 15-17 March

Not a great weekend for me but also one where I never got too involved. 
Unders in the Reds v Chiefs game arrived and was my biggest play but a good few disappointments as well

Let's hope more bookies price up the SA Cup semi finals. Griekwas vs Boland and Pumas vs Cheetahs.

Both Boland and the Cheetahs had their Premier Division Currie Cup fortunes riding on ther last group games. I won't be surprised if they're caught off the pace in their semi's. Cheetahs also look seriously unfit. I'll be eyeing Griekwas and Pumas - handicaps. Especially Pumas.

My Super Rugby Pacific  handicaps were pretty close with only the Chiefs v Highlanders differing by 3 points 

I don't see anything to make an early move for (bookies cap in brackets) 

Chiefs -14.5 (-17.5) vs Highlanders
Fijian Drua -4.5 (-5.5) vs Waratahs
Blues +3.5 (+4.5) vs Hurricanes
Western Force +2.5 (+1.5)  vs Reds

Watching the Handicap on Youtube now, it hangs completely when you guys move over to the Bulls game. Not sure if theres a glitch on my side as other videos do open and play. 

Following Oracle with a small bet on the home teams tonight plus Sharks, Bulls and Leinster. All ML. Works out 55/1

I went Highlanders over 17.5. Its going to be a death by a thousand cuts ......

In the SA Cup tonight I'm taking Pumas -7.5 but not as large as I would have wanted. Was hoping for a line of 4 or 5.

Never saw the Friday night rugby but I know Oracle was shouting Cardiff home

Leaning Drua minus but will sit that one out 

Thank good ness I stayed out of the Drua game - Waratahs run away win and high scoring - the opposite of what I was thinking

Had Cardiff as my main bet last night, so more than happy with the start to the weekend.

Looking at todays fixtures:

Leinster and Bulls only need to win to confirm a home qf. Lions - Win or draw takes them 5th and sets up a qf against the Bulls at Loftus. Loss with one or no bonus point, they finish 7th and book a ticket to Dublin for the qf. Defeat with 2 bonus points keeps them 6th, facing the Stormers in Cape Town.

No bets for me in terms of pre game caps. Again with Oracle on the Benetton plus in running should the Bulls get off to a fast start. Looking for anything 40 and upwards. Sharks and Leinster games - same tactic. 

Sharks over 45.5 pts @ 10/11

expecting a fast open game in Siya's last game for Sharks and a very attacking backline.

 

Bloody hell - I'm now on a 5 match losing streak. The latest being the Zebra under 18.5. There was something just inevitable about that. F@@k!!

That Sharks game was a wierd one for me - had the over 45.5 in the newsletter treble which ended up landing but then took Zebre under 18.5 on the back of what turned out to be a totally incorrect weather forecast 

A real mixed bag of a weekend but thanks to the 6/1 treble I held my own 

Bulls over 8.5 tries was a big disappointment after such a fast start

In my head I kept thinking why is Bulls cap bigger than Sharks? Benetton are a much better side than Zebre. So I just focussed on Sharks overs yesterday, left all other rugby aside.

Ireland women over 6.5 tries @ 5/6. Hoping weather stays good like is right now.
