Top 14 Final + other rugby week ending 28 June

The newsletter treble landed at 9/2 to make sure I finished ahead this weekend (in the rugby, the golf was another story) 
Although my main bet was unders the Bulls not turning up was a disappointment 
The Canes delivered the minus although I also gave some back on the unders tries (again) and I had small losses on SA A points and England XV points. 

There is not alot of rugby this weekend with some low key internationals but next week things get going with the Nations Championship officially underway 

There will be no "The Handicap" betting show this week.

Re Junior Rugby WC 
First round is tricky but one match stands out in context bookies idds.
Georgia v Wales in Tbilisi tomorrow.

Most bookies have Los Lelos at -10.5. 
Coral/ Ladbrokes have this priced at -7pts 
I'll play that.
Los Lelos - coming off their first ever win v NZ at this level. They are improving and gotta think they'll be pumped playing at home

 

going against the trend a bit but i've taken some Wales u20 + 11 @ 10/11.

from what i've seen on highlights and reports, the NZ squad had that game Georgia as just a warm-up, swapping sides completely at ht, no numbers on shirts, a run out of sorts after not having any proper warm ups. Wales will arrive more tuned up, just think this one will be closer than expected, despite home support and some big georgian lads.

 

Having a look at the format now and once agaon World Rugby have me baffled. 
It is better than previous but why go straight to semifinals from group stages, surely a quarter finals would have made sense? 
Group C has Argentina, England and Ireland which is brutal, one of those sides will be playing for 9th

My logic for the USA plus (clearlyflawed) was I figured they must surely be building to 2031 when they host - clearly not though 

My logic may also be flawed re confidence in Georgia.
Their defeat of NZ may not have much value
