Start in Canada today with the men's and ladies ITT's.  With Reusser and Evenepoel both around the 1/4 mark just not worth the punt. I have tried adding the ITT double to a Remco win in the road race at 4/1 but all my books decline on basis of related bets. I have no idea how three separate cycle races can be a related bet.

Women's ITT
Top 3
Knibb  @  8/1

Men's ITT
Top 3
Soderqvist  @  10/1

Vann so stiff on Soderqvist top 3, looked well on course until the crash

Coverage of the ITT always so poor at the Worlds but I am looking forward to the road race where Remco is in cracking form and I believe MVDP is rising ok as well (170km solo yesterday) and then of course you have WVA

Yep. Thought I was in business yesterday. As far as I can tell, he was the only faller in 60 riders.

U23 ITT's today. Nothing on the ladies as none of my books offering markets. Hard to see past Wilson-Haffenden but I may have risked a beer on Vinke.

Men U23 ITT

Some riders here with real pedigree. Michael Rogers nephew and Bradley Wiggins kid amongst others.  Taking a few beers on another Mads

He was in the frame with some guys but did not make the cut with me so did not notice his odds.

TTT Mixed Relay
I have quite enjoyed this race since it's inclusion. Would have liked a dip on winning margin (very little) but not offered anywhere.

Going with a double

Switzerland/Italy - Australia/Norway  @  15/10

If Switzerland win the H2H they should win so the 5/4 is probably the smarter bet but my stakes here are more for entertainment then retirement savings.

That's two against mechanicals/falls. Next one has to be in my favour.  Under 10 seconds would have been a winner if offered.

Geez that u23 men was a great watch, hard lines on Alvarez Vann but what a great ride from Barry - I ask this every time but any idea his price?

Womens Race today and I am throwing a few rand on an old flame Paula Balsi at 18/1

She didn't look great in the relay and this course is probably at the edge of her abilities but I am going for her to win in similar style to Barry yesterday

No idea on the Barry price Brent. Looks so much like MvdP in build and style that I placed 2 units on Mathieu for tomorrow at 5/1

Ladies

Bet size at beer level for the ladies

E'/W 1-3
Pieterse  @  33/1

The ladies race was one for the ages

Unfortunately my pick Blasi had a crash but what a battle we got

Vollering is an absolue beast

This is a brilliant course for attacking cycling

I think Remco today (may yet have a chunky bet on him)  but have taken

Pidcock 12/1
Jorgenson 80/1
Onley 200/1

My Fisher-Black joined your pick on the deck. Pieters did great work for Vollering which meant she just ran out of phutt on the final lap.

Also enjoyed the ladies yesterday. Without Pogs this is a great course but it also means the books are unsure so we get truly short odds for eg  Healy 28/1 but 1-3 only 3/1. Pretty darn unsporting on the place odds virtually across the board.

Win
vd Poel  @  5/1

Am taking a few places to hopefully have an interest all the way to the end should the climbs be too difficult for vdP

Top 10
Lipowitz  @  5/1
Valgren  @  7/1

I have also fulfilled my husbandly duties by placing the following for my Missus
Win and Top 10
Roglic  @  125/1
