I only tuned into SA game when they were chasing 18 off the 1st Super Over - believe I have to watch that final Rabada over

The SA game was indeed insane from a viewing perspective. I have never seen a double Powerplay and it was a crazy seesaw of emotions!

The Windies game was superb on the betting front with a full house of plays coming home. 

This World Cup is well and truly up and running now!

Some brilliant big priced Wednesday winners shaft and Hein, top stuff! I have only been a spectator so far this tournament, amazing to see the sixes line in England Windies game being so high and still covered. 

Absolute class tipping yesterday Couch and Shaft! The Zampa MOTM bet was also very unlucky not too land. Not everyday that someone takes 4 wickets and still gets outperformed! English batsman were disappointing yesterday, the warning bells are ringing loud for them. There is still a chance that England miss the Top 8 on NRR should Nepal scrape a win against the Windies (not totally impossible) and The Three Lions get pushed all the way by Scotland. 

Proteas game was a humdinger of note. I've never seen a team lose, win, lose, win, lose, tie, lose again, tie, win, nearly tie again and finally win the same game! A Proteas win was trading @ 26/10 just before Gurbaz got dismissed. 

My individual bets were a nightmare yesterday, so just trying one today:

Nepal v Italy - Man of The Match - Dipendra Singh Airee @ 10/1 - Had a good game with bat and ball against England at this very ground. Bats at 4 with a career SR of 140 and a useful offspinner.

February is tax month so have missed some cricket. Nice bowlers earlier by Jacques, Shaft got a blow or two in there  and a beaut from Couch on the England match. So Windies beat England, Zim beat the Aussies, SA almost lost to the Afghans (admittedly by stupidly selecting Linde instead of the obvious Nortje pick) yet they are all favored to win ahead of New Zealand. Not buying any of that

Very nice E/W pick on the Blackcaps @The Vann. They always bring their best at the big tournaments and certainly have the firepower to go all the way. 

Will be interesting to see if both Proteas and Blackcaps select their First XI for todays match or give the rest of the squad some game time as there is absolutely nothing to play for today in terms of placings for the next round. I think Linde will still be a big asset later in the tournament, but yes Ahmedabad doesn't suit him. 

New Zealand  v  SA

Will join Couch on the New Zealand sixes line also at 8.5. Would be downright dumb to try Linde on this wicket again so hoping Shukri gives Nortje a run. Expecting a little flamboyance today so the long levers on the boundary may be presented with a catch or two and think he sneaks a wicket. One blow with the bat and we cash in.
