Super Bowl LX (60), scheduled for
Sunday, February 8, 2026, at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, is seeing a record-shattering betting handle. The Seattle Seahawks enter the matchup as 4.5-point favorites over the New England Patriots, with the total points line set at 45.5. Analysts expect a total legal wagering handle of approximately $1.76 billion for this coast-to-coast championship showdown

Seattle Seahawks are attracting all the support in the US to cover the -4.5 and unders 45.5 total points. Love how the Vegas bookies show the big bets taken to date prior without declaring who took the bet.  Already 12 tickets in excess  multi-million dollar single bets taken on Seattle. Worth a bet at 3.3 on Sunbet to cover the spread and unders.

Massive Futures Hedge: One Nevada bettor who placed a $50,000 futures bet on the Seahawks at 60-1 back in August (to win $3 million) recently placed a $725,000 hedge on the Patriots moneyline .This maneuver guarantees a multimillion-dollar profit regardless of the game's outcome.

Thanks Tony, appreciate it the insight. Always love watching this, normally try to get up and watch, but as I have gotten older I have found it harder. LOL.

Will follow as have no feel for it anymore and always good to have a small interest.

Enjoy the game if you watch.

Thanks

Average ticket price for the Super Bowl is R80k but here is the irony, according to market data majority of the attendees may not have seen a single American football game this season, yet will buy a ticket to see the halftime show. This year very political with the most online streamed artist - I had no idea who this guy was and had to go check -lol- " Bad Bunny" the highlight of the game. He has been paid the big bucks for this years halftime show.

No different to our Durban July I assume  and to fill the sporting stadiums means the attraction will be some concert or other incentives.

On the betting front, the Seattle Seahawks are on the verge to break global betting history as the most punted sports team on a single game yet the books have not shortened them from the original moneyline odds. Crazy.
