I'm thinking the Matthews/Plapp/Vine combo can make up any time loss incurred by the ladies so taking

Nice preview Mackem, I am also thinking of throwing a few more rand at the Pidcock retirement fund at 16/1

Cycling is a team sport so being on your own here is a huge drawback. You cannot mark brakes or take turns pulling etc. Probably why this guys odds are so long. Maybe he gets lucky and the race goes the attrition route and he finishes in a smalll group. Worth a sniff at the odds

Going with Pauline. TdF winner and won Paris-Roubaix this year so climbing and cobbles no problem. The two top 10's are basically to have an interest in the race tactics. Both riders quite capable to top 10 if they read the race right.
Win
Ferrand-Prevot @ 2/1
Top 10
Moolman @ 5/1
Roseman-Gammon @ 14/1

I have taken some win only interest
Pidcock 16/1 - time for him to pay me back
Healy 28/1 - I see into 20/1 now
Arensman 199/1
Christen 149/1
Hirschi 124/1
Onley 99/1
Last 4 very small stakes
I have not had a detailed look at this but looks a tough race to control
