not had a horse racing bet for a few months but do like a small ante-post interest on big races.
Summer Cup - OLIVIAS WAY @ around 40/1. She was entered in July but got withdrawn when looked to be a lively runner, her seasonal debut was a shocker last time out but must have badly needed the run and wasn't striding out. On her day she's beaten some good male horses in past and will come in with a decent weight i'd imagine, if she lines up. Currently 19th on log.
She has an ideal prep run lined up this weekend over the 2000, and i might also have an interest on her then once betting comes out.

Thanks South, will keep an eye on that one, love your ante post plays. Right now Summer Cup seems as wide open as you can get to me but still plenty more preps to come.
I watched Royal in his prep on Sunday at Greyville, think the guys will be relieved and happy he behaved rather than dwelling on where he finished over 1400m. Gallop had his racing mass at 530kg, I reckon thats just about 20kg over his ideal race weight so Nathan has left plenty to work with and no doubt if he lines up he will be race ready on the day. I think he's a runner worthy of short list at this stage, could well have another Gr 1 in him, either this Summer Cup or Gauteng Premiers if all is / goes well and if so I will be doing cartwheels for his yard

Took a small interest about 145/1 Olivia’s Way win today onto summer cup. Would expect a deduction in odds as connected events but no harm done at these sort of odds.
