Backed when 2nd beaten less than 2l in a grade higher last time, mark unchanged Race 8 Silvano’s Song at 33/10. Ticks aa few boxes, down in grade, beaten 0.35l last time when returning from a break in a slightly stronger field, player if he can overcome draw 8. then on to Greyville late afternoon / night racing Race 2 Peach Melba at 28/10. Often fancied but has proven expensive to follow. However, never far off and often with excuses, change of trainer and could deliver an overdue maiden win. Race 5 Littleblackgem at 7/2. Closely matched with hat trick seeking Your Ladyship, took keen latest, should be right there is settling better Race 6 Targaryen Knight each way at 10/1. Connections have 2 in the race and this is the bigger price but has been taking on stronger and now gelded Race 7 Imposing at 7/2. Now 7yo but form generally holding up well in stronger races. Should enjoy return to the poly, has the No 1 gate and a 4kg claimer to lighten the burden. Race 8 Spirit Of Shimla at 7/2. Has drawn wide again but that was also the case on last run on 24th Sept and holds a couple of market rivals on that effort. More in the
