Home 3/20 Draw 9/1 Away 18/1 Other than Bayern's undoubted pedigree in this competition I have not seen anything this season to support those odds. Bayern have conceded in 4 of their last 5 Bundesliga matches with the only clean sheet coming against Mainz who are in the relegation zone. Besiktas came through their Champions League group undefeated with home and away victories over Leipzig who are 2 points outside second place in the Bundesliga ( 21 behind Bayern ). The Bundesliga is rubbish this year and Besiktas are better then anything Bayern have faced in their league this season. Bayern's victories over Celtic and Anderlecht in the group stages did not impress me and their 3-1 win over PSG in the final group game was meaningless as PSG had already qualified top of the group. For me the jury is still out on Bayern at the top level which gives me my evening bet
Besiktas +2.0 Asian handicap @ 12/10 at BetXchange
And just two more (B) and I will be taking a run at Besiktas first goal short @ 68 min

Brighton + Hove Albion v Swansea
Home 11/10 Draw 21/10 Away 3/1
Brighton at home are 4-6-3 (15-19) and Swansea away are 2-4-7 (9-19). The reverse fixture in November was won 1-0 by Brighton. Brighton's three home defeats have come against Man City/Liverpool and Chelsea. Swansea under Carvalhal are 4-2-1 with two of the wins being against Liverpool and Arsenal. His two away matches both finished 1-1 at Newcastle and Leicester. Wins have been difficult to come by for visitors to the Falmer Stadium but, in their current form, Swansea should get something which gives us

Home 9/10 Draw 23/10 Away 7/2
WBA at home are 2-7-4 (14-18) and Huddersfield away are 2-2-9 (8-27). The reverse fixture in November was won 1-0 by Huddersfield. WBA finally got their first win under Pardew 2-0 over Brighton on 13 January and immediately followed that with a draw and three defeats. Huddersfield lost five in a row until that strange 4-1 win over Bournemouth last time out. The obvious bet here is "both teams to lose" but it does not appear to be on offer at any of the books. If you have to impress your family/friends with an opinion on every EPL game try
Match to be won by 1 goal exactly @ 25/20 at Sportingbet
This is my version of what Mackem refers to as a "speculative" punt

Reading scored 4 at our place earlier in the season, and although they are in no kind of form themselves we have our only decent player in Vydra out with illness apparently.
12/5 Reading at home with bet365 is far too big.

Brisbane have been on and off this sesson, they haven't impressed. They are still in the fight for the play-offs and it comes as a boost to the team the fact that they signed up their former goalscorer Henrique.
The Jets have been amazing this season, they are second in the table and they have a great attacking line, having scored in every match this season.

Victory have been in poor form for a while now, with e consecutive defeats, and Adelaide jumped over them on the ladder to 4th spot.
They played 4 days ago in Shanghai in ACL and lost 1-4.
Adelaide have been playing well enough recently, having lost only once in their last 6.
Last round they came back from 0-2 and one man down to draw with the Mariners at home.
Bet: Adelaide +0.5 @1.73

Burnley v Southampton
Home 22/10 Draw 19/10 Away 15/10
Burnley at home are 5-3-5 (9-10) and Southampton away are 2-5-5 (12-19). The reverse fixture in November was won 1-0 by Burnley. Burnley have not won in their last 10 outings 0-5-5 but they were without their record signing - striker Chris Wood. He came through a practice match on Tuesday and is expected to play. Southampton are without Austin and Long. Looking at the teams injury lists I don't buy these odds which have Southampton as favourites and like the look of the 22/10 on Burnley. Turf Moor is not a ground for goals so I think we can safely add a match bet to the pick

Glory lost two players this week and their squad us fairly thin now.
They will bring in several youngsters to make up the numbers.
Moreover, their play-off chances are slimmer now after they lost away to the bottom team in the league, Wellington.
As we all know their defence is like a sieve too.
Before losing 0-4 to Sydney last round, City were in very good form.
For this match they don't have major issues.
Last month City won 2-0 on this stadium.

Cup final's are usually disappointingly low scoring affairs but I do not believe Arsenals defense is good enough to sit back and try to take City on the break. They will need to approach the match like Liverpool did a few weeks ago to have any chance so I am going to have a nibble at
