Maravilloso (7): will enjoy the trip.

Waldorf Astoria (7): needs to find her form.

Stopalltheclocks (: our best runner on the day. He’s improved a lot. Worth a bet.

Believe in Dreams @ 20/1
Doesn't look like stable elect with 2nd fav from same stable and having Aldo flying up. But if you look at fav Due Deligence, on a line through Miracle Flight, BiD finished 4.65l behind at level weights having 1st run. Fav ran 1.40l behind Miracle Flight getting 3kg, so on my simple line both with similar improvement should be pretty even. Know this could end with egg on my face but I sometimes also think owners might choose jocks and Habib has been riding a fair bit for the stable.

But can't get hurt at those odds.

Like a bit of star fighter in the 7th today at fairview at 3/1.
Ran decent races against better in my opinion, and know that Candice is bringing this one down only for this one run.

2 bets i like today... A multi in cape town that comes to 8/1, and a multi in tvl that comes to 50/1.

We are hoping stable Does a turn today ahead of the Queen’s Plate Festival. Once again follow us with caution until we are back in full form.

Lead Singer (2): coming off a rest and will need it.

King Saladin (3): doing much better and will improve. Place claims.

The Vow (4): improving with each run. Should go well.

Rattle Mouse (6): nice type and must have an outside chance over ground. Include.

Over The Odds (7): got penalised massively after his last run so will have his work cut out. Had apprentice up claiming 1.5kg’s which should help. Include.

Tillieangus (7): very smart sort. Will run a big race.

Double The Fun (: coming off a rest and should need first run back. Include in all exotics.

Peaceful Day (: nice tips and should run well.

Veratrum (: coming off a rest and will need it.

Winter Is Over (: looking for ground but has an outside chance. Include.

Taking some 33/1 each ways on winter is over in cape last race

My bets for today.. Multi works out 25/1.. Try yankee for a decent cover..

I have taken a few as follows:

Race 1 - Bleu Royale @ 16/1 / Pop the Corks @ 33/1
Firstly BR, if you like some of the 2nd fav, then on weights should have a chance with the Appie claim now, getting 3kg's for a 1 length beating.
Pop the Corks has had excuse the last to with been checked in running and then last time didn't jump on terms and had respiratory noises. Was backed in last time from 12/1 to 33/10 so must have been showing something at home. Can't get hurt at 33/1.
Taken Swinger as well.

Race 3 - Be Yourself @ 20/1
Long break but stable has been known to bring them back fit. Ran 2 lengths back of Front and Centre when younger so not the worse, improved as went over further in Cape Town. 1st run on Poly was more than decent behind stable companion and I have put a line through last as think distance may be to far.

Race 5 - Tarsus @ 7/1
2.5kg weight swing with Fav Pearl of Asia for 1 length beating.

Race 6 - Great Shaka @ 22/1
1st run for stable and province. Some really decent form in Jhb and looks like a 100m specialist, might pop up.

Not a great card today but for an interest, last race Drier runner could make big improvement, poor field apart from favourite, 40/1 ew no harm done.
