Have been enjoying a few small plays on the UAE Tour and will probably have a dink on Omloop over the weekend. Today's UAE stage went up one of their only mountains and there was a pretty impressive display from A Yates with a new record for the climb. He is MTS's designated TdF leader ( Simon is down for the Giro - if that takes place ). Adam was trading in the 50/1 - 66/1 range for Le Tour but I note his odds have shortened dramatically across most books.
At the time of this post he is still being offered @ 50/1 by WSB.
I have placed my first TdF bet - Happy Days :woohoo:

UAE Stage 4
Flat sprint today. Groenewegen was impeded on Stage 1 but looked like he was carrying some form
Groenewegen @ 5/2

UAE Stage 5
Same climb as stage 3 hence the 14/10 or 16/10 on Pogacar or Yates. Too short to tempt me into a cycling bet so taking
1-3 Majka @ 56/10 Looking for that 3rd place

Sadly the UAE Tour was cancelled because two support staff had flu - a very common illness in cycling this time of the year.
Today sees the start of the European cycling season with the lumpy-bumpy Omloop het Nieuwsblad. Never know what form riders are carrying so beer level bets for the first week or two
Trentin @ 9/1 (Took early in week now around 13/2)
Naesen @ 16/1
Asgreen @ 18/1 (Have to have a Quickstep rider)
Kristoff @ 33/1
For info. Some books have not priced up van Aert but he is riding.
