Hawthorn Hawks vs Adelaide Crows

The match is being played in Adelaide, but because of the Covid re-set and restrictions, the Hawks are deemed to be the hosts.

The Crows have not won a single match this season, but they showed signs of improvement in their recent matches. Although they played top half opposition, they put up a good fight in certain quarters, but they just couldn't do it all the way.
For this game they welcome back two key players and they have had 9 days break, as last round they had a bye.

The Hawks are in a poor run of form, sitting 4th from bottom, on a 4-match losing streak.
They are on a short turnaround, only 4 days (normally you get 6-7 days for Aussie Rules football, because of the extenuating nature of the game).

The Crows have one big opportunity to get their first win this season.

Also, these sides are low scoring, so I'll take an under.

Bet 1: Adelaide +14.5 @1.80
Bet 2: Under 125.5 points @1.88

West Coast Eagles vs Essendon Bombers

This match is played in Brisbane, neutral venue.

The Eagles lost in last round after 8 wins in a row, but the loss came against the current champions, Richmond.
There are 5-6 teams at the top fighting for a top 4 spot, and the Eagles are sitting 5th right now, with a game in hand. A win would take them as high as 3rd.

The Bombers beat lowly Hawthorn to reignite their play-off hopes. They are sitting outside the play-off zone with a bunch of teams fighting for a couple of spots in the top 8.

The Eagles are premiership material and they should bounce back here, especially with a top four spot on the line.

These two teams have very good forward lines.

Bet 1: Eagles -12.5 @1.91
Bet 2: Over 123.5 points @1.91
Bet 3: Total Scoring Shots - Over 33.5 @1.82

Beijing Guoan vs Chongqing Lifan

Beijing were top of their group until three matches ago, but they went through a rough patch of three games without a win, They drew twice and they lost to the current group leaders, Shanghai SIPG, and now they are second.

Chongqing are a lowly team, currently sitting second from bottom in a group of 8 teams, with only one win in seven matches.
This is a good opportunity for Beijing Guoan to bounce back.

Beijing have a very good attack line, scoring plenty, so I expect them to score at least two goals.

Bet 1: Beijing -1.25 @1.85
Bet 2: Bet builder (bet365): Beijing win + Over 1 goals in match for Beijing Guoan + Over 6 Corners in match for both teams combined @1.83

Richmond Tigers vs Fremantle Dockers

The Tigers are the reigning champions and in last round they beat West Coast Eagles, a big title contender this season, 88-61. This match is played on the Gold Coast, neutral venue, but the Tigers won all their matches that they played here.

Richmond are sitting on 5th right now, but with a win in this match they can get to 2nd. They want a top four finish in view of the play-offs.

The Dockers blew away their chances at play-offs in last round, when they lost at home, on their actual own park (most of the games are played at neutral venues in the hub), in Perth, to Great Western Sydney Giants, 53-91, and the Giants aren't even on a play-off spot.

The difference is obvious here, and with Richmond in great form, I bet as follows:

Bet 1: Richmond -26.5 @1.80
Bet 2: Richmond Team Total Over 71.5 points @1.88
Bet 3: Richmond Total Scoring Shots Over 19.5 @1.75

Shandong Luneng vs Jiangsu Suning

These two teams are sitting 2nd and 3rd in their group, which is located in Dalian, neutral venue.

They have very good attack lines and today they have their key players available, including Fellaini and Moises for Shandong, and Teixeira, Miranda and Santini for Jiangsu.

Brisbane Lions vs Collingwood Magpies

The Lions are struggling with their scoring, their kicking is wayward, they miss a lot of goals (6-pointers) and score behinds instead (1-pointers).
For example, last round they beat St Kilda 50-48, having had 20 scoring shots, of which 6 goals and 14 behinds, whereas St Kilda had only 13 scoring shots, but 7 goals and 6 behinds. They nearly lost that game because of their poor accuracy, and they've been having this problem for a long time this season.

They are sitting on the 4th now, with Collingwood on 6th, and the play-off zone includes the top 8. There are a bunch of teams fighting for the top 4 however, so both teams will fight hard tonight.

Bet 1: Collingwood +17.5 @1.80
Bet 2: Under 121 points @1.85

Nations League

Romania vs Northern Ireland

Romania's got a new coach, brought in from the U21s, to make the necessary changes and improve the national team. The U21 team reached the semifinals at the European Championship, where they defeated England U21 in quarter-finals. If this coach brings in the attributes that pushed the youngsters to the peak of European football, he's got good enough quality players to get the win tonight.

The Northern Ireland coach was also brought in from their U21s. The thing is that these two coaches met with their U21 teams and Romania won 3-0 at home and drew 0-0 in Belfast. No particular stars in their team, other than Johnny Evans, Leicester City defender, and Jamal Lewis, Norwich City defender, who are the most expensive players in the Northern Ireland team.

Bet: Romania @2.14

Netherlands vs Poland

The Dutch changed their coach. Blind and de Ligt are out injured.
The Poles won't have Lewandowski, as he is being rested.

In the European Championship preliminaries, the Netherlands scored 24 goals in 8 matches, conceding 7.
I expect the players to be a bit rusty in terms of playing together, as they haven't done it in a very long time, so there should be mistakes and cracks in defence. The Dutch should score at least a couple, and the Poles should be able to add one at least, even without Lewandowski. The Dutch did concede in almost every game during the preliminaries, and these Nations League matches don't carry the same pressure.

Bet: Over 2.5 goals @1.90
