I was low on confidence heading into last weekend and overall came out exactly square with an in play Griquas u23.5 play cancelling out an in play Lions o36.5 play as my biggest bets

An interesting week ahead with the Bulls catching up their game with the Lions on Wednesday - this will be the Lions final action before the semi-finals while the Bulls will play the Pumas on Sunday

The handicap for this game is already out

Bulls -3.5 v Lions +3.5 - I need to catch up on team news, Bulls may be rusty but that seems low

Here are my handicap projections for the weekends matches

WP -4.5 v Sharks
Griquas +12.5 v Cheetahs
Pumas +15.5 v Bulls (this cap will depend on the outcome of the Lions game, the Bulls may have wrapped up top spot or they could need a win against the Pumas to do so)

There is also Pro 14 and Premiership action

Small play on Lyon -7.5 vs Montpellier

Lyon will rotate the squad but the team will be still quite strong. On the other hand, Garbojosa has been sack and a journalist specialist of Montpellier said that only 15 players were available for Lyon’s game and no players involved 80 min vs Toulouse should play this game to be rested for the key game at Brive on the weekend . The new managers are looking to include academy players to get 23 players on the team sheet.
This is a bit of a speculative move so not a huge stake but worth a shot

I like that one South

A quick look at the betting and I see Bulls shifted to -5.5 at WSB and -4.5 at Sunbet

An overcast morning with some rain about in Joburg (about 60km from Loftus) so points punters keep an eye on the weather

Looks like Stormers v Sharks off. Covid in Stormers camp. Apparently two points each. Final most likely to be up country then.

I have interesting feeling about this Bulls team, very mixed in my opinion.
So Lions need only a win without bonus point to grab 2nd place. While Bulls can focus on second half or on the last game to win and job done for first place. Lions have the better point diff vs western prov

Was with you on this and had beers @ 10/1 on any draw. Personally I blame Couch for today's loss. His constant promotion over the past how many years of hookers as try scorers has gone to their heads. They now see themselves as the fourth loosie and can't even throw balls into the friggen line-out anymore. :silly:

I see Pumas into +10.5 against the Bulls from +13.5 at Sunbet

There is still +14.5 at Hollywood

A dead rubber now so interesting to see how the Bulls approach it

Bet: Pumas +14.5 vs Bulls @1.90 (hollies)

We think bulls will rest their players for the semi finals weekend and send a proper B team to Nelspruit. Pumas on the other hand will be hungry to prove themselves as a top team and get another win under the belt. They've done really well this season at home and I expect more of the same here.

So, with a win rate of 35% since restart in September, and 1 from 4 yesterday (25%), I am dumb enuff to put up my best bets for today:

Pro 14:
Ospreys -2.5 @ 1.87
Scarlets -2.5 @ 1.81

Premiership:
Newcastle Falcons -2.5 @ 1.95

Acca of the 3 + Exeter Win @ 8.84
All at Sunbet.

Weather is decent/good everywhere, so form might prevail (hoping) for a change.
My fortunes must turn sooner or later  :) :woohoo:

Time to hit back at the bookerrrs boys and girls :beer :beer

Edit: If you add the Pumas +10.5 into the above acca, it's @ 16.54 - just saying

Backing Cardiff Blues +4 @ 1.91
They've been woeful the last couple of weeks, but finally get their 1st choice 9-10-12-13 on the field.
Head coach Mulvihill departed earlier this week, so banking on this galvanising them a bit.

Really like London Irish plus v Quins tomorrow too.
Cant work out why money coming for Quins.
Irish + 12 @ 1.95
