Winners: France @ 5.2/1 - in the " group of death ", but if they finish 1st, or even 2nd, the route to the final looks like it will be decent.

Top Scorer: Lukaku @ 7.4/1 - could grab quite a few in the group stage.

Immobile @ 22/1 ( ew 4 places ) - nice looking group, think Italy are playing 2 or 3 games in Rome and reckon they have the potential to go quite far.

Group D
Croatia look class on paper but they just have not produced in the past 18 months. I believe England top the group easily and Czech Rep have a good chance.
Group E
I think Spain top the group. From this position they play a lucky loser - then probably Germany who they beat 6-0 last time out with a semi against Netherlands. Final looks quite possible. Also in this group is Sweden. Poland have disappointed repeatedly in the last two years when it mattered so I think Sweden go through. Probably play Czech Rep or if through as a lucky loser probably Netherlands. Both matches they could win.

Like that Group A lowest scoring Chris but you must have frightened the books. Best I can find is 19/10 but still taking some.

Man that Group D bet above did not age well.
Have to say I do not get the books fascination with France. I make Italy + Belgium joint favorites with Spain third followed by France + Portugal tied fourth/fifth. I know Netherlands have a perfect record but their defense looks suspect. An old friend told me before the tournament started - forget England, they are there to win the most racially harmonious prize and will lecture everyone to death on the topic.
From my point of view this puts my top 5 choices in one side of the draw which makes the final a difficult pick. I am going to go with Italy and the old Lineker saying - Football is played by eleven a side for 90 minutes then Germany win.
