An up and down weekend for me for the most part but a significant loss on Leinster and also Toulouse minuses meant it was a poor one for me.

Battling to find the middle of the bat at the moment. and hopefully things will turn this week

Here are my Super Rugby handicap projections

Moana Pasifika +25.5 v Chiefs (in Auckland)
Reds -11.5 v Rebels
Blues -5.5 v Hurricanes
Highlanders +1.5 v Crusaders
Waratahs +1.5 v Brumbies
Force -8.5 v Drua

The URC is back, here are my handicaps, don't have a strong feel for the URC at the moment - team news going to be critical and expecting to be well out on a few

Edinburgh -18.5 v Zebre
Dragons +9.5 v Stormers
Bulls -6.5 v Glasgow (assuming Glasgow send a strong team to defend top spot)
Scarlets +10.5 v Ulster
Sharks -4.5 v Benetton (reckon Sharks rest a few, Benetton will surely throw everything into URC now)
Lions -16.5 v Cardiff
Munster -9.5 v Connacht
Leinster -10.5 v Ospreys (assume Leinster rest a few and play a hybrid team)

This thread can also cover any other rugby including the Gallagher Prem.

I'll have a go at the Premiership handicaps (to see how close I am):

Newcastle Falcons +21.5 vs Bath
Sale Sharks -4.5 vs Leicester Tigers
Bristol +4.5 vs Saracens
Northampton Saints -19.5 vs Gloucester (Assuming Saints will be all in, and Gloucester to rest a few)
Exeter Chiefs -3.5 vs Harlequins (Assuming Quins will rest a few)

Only two more weeks of regular Premiership to go

My face is still red from my almost fatal tits-up -1.5's, which I compounded with a 5 units punt at Toulouse -17.5.
Stopped watching at half time and everything looking Rosie, but alas. Not really surprised.

Best of luck to us all :beer

I've taken the Junior Boks -3.5 at 9/10 against Australia in the under 20 Rugby Championship. Australia playing at home, but after the first games last week I expected the Boks to closer to double digit favourites. Australia looked terrible against Argentina and the Boks impressed me against NZ.

WSB are out with Super Rugby and some big differences of opinion - probably more as a result of my sketchy form at the moment than anything else

Moana Pasifika +25.5 (+29.5) v Chiefs
Reds -11.5 (-11.5) v Rebels
Blues -5.5 (-1.5) v Hurricanes
Highlanders +1.5 (+5.5) v Crusaders
Waratahs +1.5 (+10.5) v Brumbies
Force -8.5 (+1.5) v Drua

Force outright at 13/10 my early play

Also taking a double Blues -1.5 Waratahs +10.5 at 5/2

Also Blues, Highlanders and Force to win at 12/1

Lions -7 my early URC play. Cant be having that Cardiff team anywhere near double digits down in SA.

Think zebre +25 vs Edinburgh may be too big, but not getting involved yet.

In super rugby my early fancy is force on the board, I capped it exactly where you had it Brent. However there’s been some early money for the Drua so I’ll wait until it settles down. The Farce may be bad but the Drua have never won an away game apart from Moana (does that really count). The force have also won their last 2 home games vs Crusaders and Reds

Looks like good early value. Wonder if it will be like water polo again? Total lines in low 40s so bookies a bit more awake this time.

Hopefully more like a swimming pool than a rugby field again. Rain throughout the day and strong wind tomorrow in Bokarina. Drainage didn't look good on Thursday judging by all the puddles and with the ground already soaked after last week's rain I expect a few puddles again tomorrow. Even at 10 points lower quote I fancy the unders. Lots of changes to all 4 teams also can't be good for attacking synchronisation.

Edit: The wind favoured the one team heavily on Thursday. With a strong wind predicted again, it could be wise to back the team playing with the wind in the 2nd half at halftime.

In the Junior Boks game “neither team to score the first try” is priced at a ridiculous 95/1(!). As Hanrick mentioned the drainage is bad. Last week Aus scored none and the Junior Boks scored one through a rather lucky bounce. This is at Pokerbet/Gbets/Playtsogo

I managed to find Exeter at @1.91 so I put 2u happily, better odds than @1.66 in b365 so some value there. Expect also Quins to rotate something.

Attention in Top14 because there's only 4 rounds left and some teams are very concerned about JIFF's. Clermont and Montpellier far away of minimum required so they should rotate heavily at least one of those rounds and this one sounds right to do It as they play away from home.

Here are current URC caps in brackets v my predictions - some big differences but team news will be crucial

Edinburgh -18.5 (-24.5) v Zebre my cap was wrong
Dragons +9.5 (+10.5)v Stormers
Bulls -6.5 (-12.5) v Glasgow would like to see Glasgow team, if full strength I think they could push Bulls
Scarlets +10.5 (+8.5) v Ulster
Sharks -4.5(-8.5) v Benetton I am expecting Sharks to rest players, Benetton may as well I guess - no action yet
Lions -16.5 (-14.5) v Cardiff - believe this opened -7.5 overseas
Munster -9.5 (-10.5) v Connacht
Leinster -10.5 (-16.5) v Ospreys I expect Leinster to rest 1st XV, if so +16.5 may be worth a go

In short too many unknowns for me to get involved at this point but will be watching markets and team talk with interest

Some little Itty-bitty French action for moi, s'il vous plaît

Pro D2 all the favorites (8 home teams) to win for 2 units at 8.40

Top 14 all the Saturday favorites (6 home teams)
3 for the W, then Toulonne -14.5, Pau -17.5, Perpignon -10.5, for 2 units at 14.50

All at Pokerbet.
When the caps out at Sunbet, I'll repeat these bets with them

Hope I get to shout 'bingo' a couple of times after last week's balls-up :woohoo:
Best of luck and all that :beer

:woohoo: :woohoo: No bingos. Train wreck of a weekend for me overall :pinch: :S

Wasn’t planning on playing super rugby this weekend as focussing on URC, but drawn into this one -

Over 53.5 @ 5/6 highlanders crusaders.

This ground has not been good for points this season which is odd as used to be guaranteed in past. Looking for a trend change and both sides to throw it about.

SA Cup Griekwas vs SWD

I can’t get on myself but would’ve been all over Griekwas -49.5 at WSB.

Griekwas have been strengthened by Stormers fringe players. Could get really ugly for SWD.

I did have a few decent wins yesterday, but that was a bad loss. I think the bet was right. Leinster won the second half 40-0, with 4 of 6 tries in the final 10.

State of welsh rugby is not good, not good at all.
