The latest Goodforthegame newsletter penned by @BrentGraham with best bets for the weekend 20th to 22nd March including the United Rugby Championship
I made a much-needed return to form in Super Rugby Pacific last weekend but the problem was I went missing in the 6 Nations with the under 62.5 newsletter play in Paris absolutely obliterated.
We are already well into this weekends rugby but we still have 3 local teams in action in the URC, the Proteas try to stay in the T20 series against New Zealand tomorrow and there is plenty of other action including local and international soccer, UFC, LIV Golf in SA and cycling with the years 1st monument Milan San Remo.
Weekend Plays
I have been very busy at the day job and am looking to have a relatively stress-free weekend so I am only taking 1 significant bet in todays URC and will throw in a Hail Mary Acca for interest.
Lions v Edinburgh – hoping for a scrappy match
While finishing off a few previews this morning the rain has been falling steadily in Joburg. It looks like it might clear but the surface at Ellis Park should be a bit greasy and the ground doesn’t seem to stand up to rain as well as it used to.
That is enough to tempt me into an unders play.
BET: 2 units (1-5) under 53.5 points at 47/50 at Betxchange
I was looking to go unders in Durban for Sharks v Munster but I see a line of 44.5 which reflects the weather and strangely rain doesn’t always mean low points in Durban, it’s more the humidity that does it.
My bet in this game and in the Stormers v Dragons will be posted in the URC Blog
The Hail Mary Acca!
I have thrown a few fancies into a 29/1 acca
- Over 2.5 goals Newcastle v Sunderland at 5/6
- EFL Cup Final draw after 90 minutes at 3.25
- Galaxy v Pirates, Match result and Both Teams to Score Pirates and NO at 12/10
- South Africa to beat New Zealand at 13/10
BET: 0.5 unit at 29/1 at WSB
Other highlights on GFTG
- Chris previews the EFL Cup final between Arsenal and City
- He also looks at the Betway Premiership action
- The UFC takes place in London and this preview is powered by WSB
Enjoy the weekends sport!
Cheers
