Last week was a good one, with the Sharks ML bet landing and overs in the Lions game cruising home. There was no newsletter joy in the WSB Met, though, although in the video preview Hilton was bullish about the favourite, See It Again who duly delivered.
The Six Nations is one of my favourite competitions and it got off to an early start, with France making Ireland look rather ordinary on Thursday night. I was on the under 50.5, which came home by the narrowest of margins, although it was never really under pressure with the final try being converted on the hooter.
The other two games take place today, and we also have the start of the T20 World Cup.

It was great to chat to The Mossman on Thursday night’s show, where he joined Oracle and myself for an early look at Super Rugby Pacific and, of course, the Six Nations matches.

T20 World Cup
Couch Critic has dusted off the old typewriter and written an Outright Preview, as well as previews for today’s and Sunday’s games. We hope to have him writing more during the tournament, as his articles are always a good read and he often finds great betting value.
USA v India: Kishan Most 6’s
One bet that caught my eye in the Day 1 preview is in the USA v India match, where he has gone for Kishan to hit the most sixes at 4/1. Kishan is likely (not guaranteed) to open the batting, which is important against a weaker side, as it gives him time at the crease even in a low chase where only a couple of sixes may be needed and if batting 1st you get every opportunity against a weaker bowling attack. He hit seven sixes against South Africa before being retired, and this looks a nice Saturday afternoon interest while my main focus remains on the rugby.

A Six Nations Double
On the rugby front, I like over 43.5 in Italy despite the poor weather forecast, and Wales +29.5 at Twickenham. I’m going to take these as a double.
