HERO’S JOURNEY finished 0.75 lengths behind the second choice last time. He caught the eye when second on debut over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. The son of Heavenly Blue should love the rise to 1400m and he would not be a shock winner.
Race 2
RHYTHM KING finished 1.5 lengths behind FORTUNE ONE last time. He is 9.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The son of Pomodoro is having his peak run and should be cherry-ripe. He is ideally drawn in pole position and can shed his maiden tag.
FORTUNE ONE was unlucky not to have won his last start over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He would have come on from the outing and should strip much fitter. Aldo Domeyer rides and he is a big threat.
EUGENIUS returns from a 10-week break and is having his first effort as a gelding. His best career effort has come over this C&D. If not in need of the run, he should have big improvement to come.
Race 3
TRIP TO CAMELOT produced an encouraging comeback run over this distance at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth. He stayed on at the finish but found one too good in the form of Money Extractor. The son of Trippi would have come on from the outing and back in Maiden Company, he should take a power of beating.
MERCENARY set the pace over this C&D last time before getting outrun late. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He is having his first run as a gelding which may have done the trick.
SPANISH VERSE stayed on when second over 1800m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. He drops to 1600m and from his awkward draw of eight, he will be mowing down the frontrunners.
Race 4
VIXENS WAR turned for home in a wide position over 1800m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. She was touched off in her penultimate outing over 1800m on this course. The daughter of Act Of War is back against her own sex and from a good draw of four, she may be the one to beat.
KITUBA showed some improvement when fifth over 1200m last time. She was slow into stride and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of One World is a progressive type and should love the rise to 1600m.

KLIPTOWN has finished fourth in both his post maiden efforts. He was doing his best work at the finish last time and should love the return to 1400m. The son of Rafeef is a solid back-up for the Candice Bass stable.
CARRIACOU stayed on when third over this C&D last time. The 6yo gelding has cracked a good draw of three and cannot be discounted.

GRAVITY has good recent form lines to his credit. He was switched for running room at the 400m mark last time and finished off his race strongly. He is in a good space and with luck from the widest draw, he can notch up his fourth-career victory.
WINTER PEARL stayed on when fifth over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth last time. He has won twice and finished third once from six starts over this C&D. The 7yo gelding will be mowing down the frontrunners at the finish.
JET A ONE finished 0.5 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.
