Winning Form selections for racing from Turffontein on Saturday 21st March where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Race 1

CHARMING CHEETAH was not disgraced when sixth in the Grade 3 TAB National Currency Sprint last time. He was reported to be fatigued that day. The son of New Predator has won once and finished third twice from as many starts over this C&D. He gets the tongue-tie fitted for the first time which may do the trick. In this small field, he may be the one to beat.

ZALATORIS finished 5 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 2kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

TRAJANUS did not go on with the effort over 1000m on the Vaal Classic course last time. He does have work to do at the weights but would not be a surprise winner.

Race 2

KAVADY was an easy winner in the Non-Black Type XMas Futurity Plate over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Greyville last time. The daughter of Quasillo returns from a 12-week break which may have done her the world of good. She is a progressive type and can follow up with another victory.

QUEEN LEILA was given a strong ride when winning her last start over 1000m on the Inside course. The daughter of Heavenly Blue will love the rise to 1160m and she is one of the leading contenders.

OCEAN MISTRESS ran an encouraging race on debut over 1000m on this course. She returns from an 11-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. With the natural improvement that is expected, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 3

Trainer Sean Tarry holds a strong hand in this contest and he can saddle the first two past the post. TURN IT UP was an easy winner of his last start over 1000m on this course. He returns from a 12-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. The son of Querari looks to have class about him and may be the one to beat.

STATUS SYMBOL ran on strongly when winning his last start over 800m on this course. He finished 1.55 lengths behind the top choice on debut. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and should be competitive.

SPIRIT OF GABZ is better than his last start in the Listed TAB Storm Bird Stakes. On his previous two efforts, he can finish in the first three.

Race 4

UTSAAH ran a good race when second over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The blinkers seem to have done the trick and she can go one better.

MADE TO MEASURE showed good improvement when second over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time. The daughter of Fire Away is a progressive type and if confirming her recent effort, she should pose a massive threat.

NICOLSON LANDING stayed on when second over 1450m on the Inside course last time. The daughter of Admiral Kitten will enjoy the rise to 1600m and she cannot be discounted.

Race 5

GIMMETHESPOTLIGHT should have won his last start over this distance on the Inside course. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. It is encouraging that Marco van Rensburg steps back into the saddle. He is well drawn in barrier two and if not too far out of his ground turning for home, he should be the one to beat.

POMPEII SHIELD set the pace over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time but found one too good in the form of Top Floor. The son of William Longsword is coming along the right way and is a threat.

MILLENNIUM WARRIOR showed good improvement when second over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time. If confirming that effort, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 6

POPLAR PARK was not beaten far in the Listed TAB Spook Express Stakes last time. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. Apprentice Blaine Marx-Jacobson takes the 4kgs off her back and on best form shown, she may be the one to beat.

JORDAN kept finding to win his last start over 2000m on the Vaal Classic course. He received a three-pound penalty for that victory. Should the top choice fluff her lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

ONE MORE STAR stayed on when third over 2000m on the Vaal Classic course last time. The son of One World tries the 2400m and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he can go close.

Race 7

FROZEN FANTASY’S last three starts have been good. She finished 1.35 lengths behind CHROME TOURMALINE, three runs ago. She is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She is drawn towards the outside, will be running on and can return to winning ways.

HROME TOURMALINE stayed on when fourth over this C&D last time. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

POBLANO has good recent form lines to her name. She finished 0.25 lengths behind the second choice, four runs ago. She is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

Race 8

TEO TORRIATTE finished 0.5 lengths behind BACK FROM WAR last time. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She is ideally drawn in pole position and can notch up her eighth-career victory.

BACK FROM WAR stayed on when third over 1800m on the Vaal Classic course last time. Craig Zackey is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.

RT NOUVEAU should have finished much closer to the winner last time as she had no luck in running. It is encouraging that Gavin Lerena retains the ride and if all goes according to plan, she can fight out the finish.

Race 9

WILLIAM ROBERTSON lasted long enough when winning the Grade 3 JJ The Jet Plane Stakes last time. He has won three times, finished second four times and third once from as many starts over this C&D. The 7yo gelding is the class horse in the race and should take a power of beating.

RODEO DRIVE was given a peach of a ride when winning the Grade 2 Mike de Kock Ipi Tombe Challenge last time. She has won once, finished second once and third once from four starts over this C&D. She carries a handy galloping mass of 54.5kgs and should produce another honest performance.

MINOGUE is better than her last start in the Grade 1 Maine Chance Farms Majorca Stakes. She has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this C&D. On best form shown, she can go close
