Winning Form selections for all races from @Hollywoodbets Durbanville on Wednesday 29th October where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

MEET THE KING showed improvement when third over 1250m on this course last time. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish was encouraging. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. He should enjoy the rise to 1400m and may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

EUGENIUS showed good improvement when fourth over 1250m on this course last time. The manner in which he finished off his race that day suggests that he will love the rise to 1400m. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

GIMME THE TRUTH is an unraced son of Gimmethegreenlight from the Glen Kotzen stable with Chad Little in the saddle. He is related to three-time winner On My Honour. If not too green in running, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to his chances.

Race 2

MIAMI SUMMER showed improvement when second over 1250m on this course last time. Despite over racing, the manner in which he flew up at the business end was eye-catching. The son of The United States will love the rise to 1400m and he can go one better.

CEDAR POINT finished 1.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and he may have to settle for the same result.

JOUEUR DE FLUTE was touched off in his last start over 1250m on this course. He has finished second twice and third once from as many starts over this C&D. Callan Murray is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

Race 3

This is a competitive B Stakes field and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is BLACK EAGLE from the Vaughan Marshall stable. He followed up his maiden win with a victory over this C&D. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He takes another rise in class, but carries a handy galloping mass of 52.5kgs and can bring up the hat-trick.

OLIVER stayed on when second over this C&D last time. He is having his peak run today and should be cherry- ripe. In this small field, he should be involved at the finish.

WING WALKER is a winner of his last three starts in KwaZulu-Natal. He returns from a well-deserved 12-week break. If not in need of the run, he should give a good account of himself.

Race 4

AMERICAN ULTRA ran a good race when second over this C&D last time. She took the lead at the 150m mark before getting outrun late. The daughter of The United States is having her peak run and will be cherry-ripe. With a bit of luck from her awkward draw of nine, she may be the one to beat.

MISS WILLIAM finished 0.3 lengths behind GARDEN OF EDEN last time. She is 1kg better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. GIRL LIKE US finished 0.95 lengths behind

GARDEN OF EDEN in the race referred to above. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today. The daughter of What A Winter will be mowing down the frontrunners.

Race 5

PUSHING LIMITS returned to winning ways over 1000m on this course last time. She ran on powerfully at the finish that day. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. Corne Orffer retains the ride, and the combination can follow up with another victory.

OZARK stayed on when third over this C&D last time. He has dropped in the ratings and should be the first male past the post.

LOVERS LANE finished 0.5 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

Race 6

BEACH VERSE followed up her maiden victory with a creditable fourth-place finish over 1500m on this course. The manner in which she stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. She gets the blinkers fitted for the first time which should sharpen her up. Richard Fourie is booked to ride, and she may be the one to side with.

ONCIDIUM ran a fair race against stronger over 1600m on this course last time. She may be at her best over this distance at this stage of her career. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

MISS NEW YORK found one too good in the form of Queen Regent last time. She won her penultimate outing over 1250m on this course. She is in a good space and would not be a shock winner.

Race 7

EISTEDDFOD is a progressive type who won her maiden with ease over 1250m on this course. She raced from a prominent position, showed a good turn of foot and drew clear of the opposition. The daughter of Potala Palace should love the rise to 1400m. She takes on stronger, but has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.

CATCH A PENNY followed up her maiden win with a decent fifth-place finish over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She has won once, finished second twice and third once from as many starts over this distance. She is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

RED BERYL showed good improvement when shedding her maiden tag over this C&D. The daughter of The United States has plenty of scope and should give a good account of herself.

Race 8

CARRIACOU stayed on at the finish over this C&D last time, but found one too good in the form of Viva’s Liberte. He finished second in the Non-Black Type Winter Country Championship 1500 Final in his penultimate outing. If Callan Murray is able to keep him on a straight line, he can return to winning ways.

BOOGIEFIED has good consistent form lines to his credit. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from six starts over this distance. He is likely to race on the speed once again and may be hard to peg back.

FOX ON THE RUN made the expected natural improvement when winning his maiden over 1250m on this course last time. It is interesting that Richard Fourie is booked to ride. He has plenty of scope and should run a big race
