Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 27th March where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

RACE 1

BUGLE has decent recent form lines to his credit. He should have finished closer to the winner over 1600m on the turf last time. The son of Rafeef meets the right field and Kyle Strydom may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

AETHELWULF was disappointing over 2000m last time. His form prior to that outing was fair. The gelding may have done the trick and he is one of the leading contenders.

TURBULENT returns from a 10-week break and is having his first effort for Dean Smith. His penultimate run when second over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth catches the eye. If settled into his new surroundings, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

RACE 2

BLUE DAME returns from a 10-week break and is having her first outing for the Dean Smith stable. She is a filly with scope and tries the polytrack for the first time. The daughter of Futura jumps from pole position and if suited to the surface, she can improve to win a race of this nature.

DELAROCHE is also having her first run in the Eastern Cape. The daughter of Vercingetorix gets the tongue-tie fitted for the first time. She is likely to race on the pace and may be hard to peg back.

LAUDIUM should have finished closer last time as she hung outwards in the final 250m. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. If keeping on a straight line, she can fight out the finish.

RACE 3

FLIGHT DISPLAY held on where it matters most to win her last start over this distance on the turf. She received a three-pound penalty for that victory. 4kgs claiming Apprentice Girish Dookhit retains the ride and she can follow up with another win.

STRAWBERRY THIEF is having her first run for Trainer Alan Greeff. She is better than her last two starts in feature races. The daughter of Canford Cliffs carries a handy galloping mass of 53.5kgs and if settled into her new surroundings, she can improve.

EPIKLEROS finished 1.25 lengths behind FIRST WISH last time. She is 3.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

RACE 4

This is a weak Maiden Plate and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is SALAGADOOLA from the Jacques Strydom stable. She stayed on at the finish over 1400m last time, but found one too good in the form of Blame It On Me. Wayne Agrella is booked to ride and he may be able to get the best out of her where it matters most.

SIXTYZERO finished 1.25 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 0.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

LADY LIMONCELLO was in need of her local debut over 1200m on the turf. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Flower Alley should enjoy the rise to 1600m and would not be a shock winner.

RACE 5

POTENZA was not disgraced when fourth in the Oaks Plate over 1800m on the turf last time. She finished 2.35 lengths behind DESERT CLOUD in her penultimate outing. She is 4kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The daughter of Master Of My Fate won her maiden over this C&D. She has plenty of scope and if jumping on terms, she should have a winning chance.

DESERT CLOUD dead-heated when winning her last start over this distance on the turf. She has won once, finished second twice and third twice from as many starts on this course. She always gives of her best and merits healthy respect.

IZANAMI should have finished closer to the winner last time. She has won twice, finished second twice and third once from six starts on this course. On her previous form, she should be competitive.

Race 6

PRINCESS OF BAYEUX showed signs of a form return when sixth over this distance on the turf last time. She over raced in the early stages and had to be steadied at the 800m mark. The daughter of William Longsword has cracked a good draw of three and if switching off early, she can go close.

HOSPICES DE BEAUNE finished 0.65 lengths behind DONNY’S BOY last time. He is 1kg better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish. He is likely to get his own way in front from pole position and may be hard to peg back.

KING VISERYS was running on when second over 1400m last time. The blinkers seem to have done the trick. If getting away on terms, he should earn another cheque for his patrons.

RACE 7

MOSCOW MISS is better than her last start as the jockey reported something to be amiss in running. The daughter of Global View is having her first run in the Eastern Cape. She has won on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack previously. She tries the 1300m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she may be hard to peg back.

ALEX MILLER has not finished too far off the winner recently. She drops in class and gets the services of 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Blaine Marx-Jacobson. With a bit of luck in running, she can notch up her second-career victory.

VOORSMAAKIE tired late when fifth over 1200m on this course last time. She continues to drop in the ratings and on best form shown, she can finish in the placings.

RACE 8

GALE WARNING followed up his maiden victory with an encouraging fifth-place finish over 1000m on this course. He should have finished closer to the winner that day as he hung inwards in the final 150m. The son of Elusive Fort drops in class and from pole position, he may be the one to side with.

RAVILIOUS was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over 1000m on this course. He is an honest type and with the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Girish Dookhit, he should pose a massive threat.

NOTORIX is better than his last start over 1400m on the turf. His two efforts prior to that outing on this course, were good. Eldin Webber steps back into the saddle and may be hard to peg back
