Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Greyville on Friday 31st October where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

LIGHT THE FIRE had to overcome a wide draw over 1600m last time and may not have seen out the distance. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of One World gets the cheekpieces fitted which should keep his mind on the task at hand. From his good draw of two, he may be the one to side with in this field.

DUNGEON MASTER was reported to be changing strides last time. He has been gelded since that outing which may have done the trick. In this line-up, he would not be a shock winner.

TASK FORCE finished 0.3 lengths behind the second choice on debut. He would have come on from the outing and should strip fitter. He jumps from pole position and with the natural improvement that is expected, he should be right there.

Race 2

PRIORY TERRACE was unlucky not to have won her last start as she was squeezed leaving the start. She was running on at the finish over 1000m that day. The daughter of Vercingetorix will strip much fitter and should enjoy the rise to 1200m. Callan Murray rides from a good draw of four and if getting away to a clean start, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS found one too good in the form of On Song last time. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, she should pose a threat.

CHIMES AT MIDNIGHT stayed on when third over this distance on the polytrack last time. She finished 5.9 lengths behind the second choice, three runs ago. She is 2kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

Race 3

GREEN GLOW is the best bet on the programme. He was running on too late when second over this C&D last time. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and if not too far out of his ground turning for home, he should be the one to beat.

DIRECTOR found one too good in the form of Pembury last time. He has been gelded since that outing which may have done the trick. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

SWORD SPEED produced a promising debut effort when second over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. The son of William Longsword would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1600m. From his good draw of two, he should be involved at the finish.

Race 4

CRIMSON TYPHOON ran a good race on debut over this distance on the polytrack. She lost a length leaving the start, but the manner in which she finished off her race was eye-catching. The daughter of Master Of My Fate would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she may be the one to beat.

LEGACY took time to find her feet on debut, but stayed on at the finish. She found betting support that day which suggests that she was showing good work at home. The daughter of Vercingetorix will love the rise to 1400m and should make the natural improvement.

ECHO has fair recent form lines under 4kgs claiming Apprentice Dezahn Louw. She has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this distance. The daughter of Flying The Flag can finish in the placings.

Race 5

THE MIKADO finished 1.4 lengths behind CONTINENTALEXPRESS last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights tonight and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

CONTINENTALEXPRESS finished 1.1 lengths behind SPECTACULAR last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and should turn the form around. He won his penultimate outing over this C&D and merits healthy respect.

SPECTACULAR won easier than the official margin suggests last time. The son of Vercingetorix tries the 2400m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he can follow up with another victory.

Race 6

CAPPELLINO finished 1.55 lengths behind ARVERNI PRINCESS last time. He is 4kgs better off at the weights tonight which should be enough to turn the form around. His record on this course is an obvious concern, but he is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

ARVERNI PRINCESS won a game race over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. She has won twice and finished third once from five starts over this C&D. S’manga Khumalo steps into the saddle, and she is one of the leading contenders.

PRANKSTER returns from a well-deserved 12-week break which may have done her the world of good. She won her only attempt over this C&D. She is likely to race on the speed and if fit, she may be hard to peg back.

Race 7

CAPTAIN’S CHRISTY stayed on when fourth over 1200m on the polytrack last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. She has won once, finished second once and third once from as many starts over this C&D. If putting her best foot forward from a good draw of three, she can notch up her fourth-career victory.

PRINCESS HANNAH was unlucky in her last start and she was reported to be not striding out. She is having her peak run and should be cherry- ripe. With a bit of luck from her awkward draw of nine, she should pose a threat.

VISION TO ACHIEVE is the stable companion of the second choice. She finished 1.1 lengths behind SIESTA SUNSET in her penultimate run. She is 4.5kgs better off at the weights and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

Race 8

WINTER GAMES was not beaten far over this C&D last time. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. The son of What A Winter will strip much fitter and if keeping on a straight line, he can return to winning ways.

AMOR FATI finished 0.15 lengths behind IMPOSING last time. He is 5kgs better off at the weights tonight and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. The son of Global View will be mowing down the frontrunners.

PLAZA ACCORD tried hard when 0.2 lengths behind IMPOSING last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and should turn the form around. From his good draw of three, he should be involved at the finish.

Race 9

QUEEN BRAGANZA was an impressive winner on debut over 1000m on the polytrack. The daughter of Potala Palace would have gained from the experience and should love the rise to 1200m. She takes on stronger, but could be anything and can remain unbeaten.

ARE YOU SURE tried hard when third over this distance on the polytrack last time. She runs well for Jockey S’manga Khumalo and is one of the leading contenders.

ICY LANCASTER finished 1.3 lengths behind the second selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms this evening and she may have to settle for the same result
