LIGHT OF GABRIEL was a beaten odds-on favourite in her last start over 1200m on this course. She was running on too late that day. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight will love the rise to 1400m and with a bit of luck from the widest draw, she should find herself in the winner’s enclosure.
DANCING IN DEMARK produced a decent debut effort over 1200m on the Hollywoodbets Greyville polytrack. She returns from a 14-week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
CRIMSON TYPHOON is an unraced daughter of Master Of My Fate from the Darryl Moore stable with Callan Murray in the saddle. She is related to four-time winner Suryavarman. If not in need of the run, she should start her career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to her chances.

This is a weak Open Maiden and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is INTRO from the Kumaran Naidoo stable. She tried hard when second over 1800m on this course last time. The daughter of Bezrin should have no issues with the rise to 2000m. She meets the right field and can go one better.
CARNIVAL PARK was his own worst enemy over 1900m last time as he over raced in the early stages. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. If Marco van Rensburg is able to switch him off early, he should be the first male past the post.
REIGN ON IMPACT showed improvement when sixth over 1900m on this course last time. He would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. With luck from the widest draw, he may have more to come.
Race 4
ALANNAH ran a good race when third over 1400m on this course last time. She is having her peak run today and should be cherry-ripe. The daughter of Ideal World is the best-weighted runner and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she can return to winning ways.
TOMYRIS found one too good in the Listed Off To Stud Stakes last time. She has won once, finished second twice and third once from seven starts on this course. With a bit of luck from her awkward draw of eight, she should be competitive.
SHE‘S A BOMBER is better than her last start in the Grade 2 Bet With The World Gold Bracelet. She won a good race in the Grade 3 Tote Oaks in her penultimate outing. She is a filly with class and merits healthy respect.

HAPPY FORTUNE tried hard when second over this C&D last time but found one too good in the form of Ubukhwebezana. Rachel Venniker takes the 1.5kgs off her back which will assist her cause. She is coming along the right way and can go one better.
POURSOMESUGARONME was running on when third over 1600m on this course last time. Two of her four career victories have come over this distance. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.
AVERNIAN GODDESS is better than her last start over 1200m on this course. She has finished second twice and third twice from as many starts over this distance. If putting her best foot forward, she should have a say.
Race 6
This is a competitive Class 4 field and caution is advised. The tentative first selection is DAPPER from the Duncan Howells stable. He ran a good race when second over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. He finished 3.35 lengths behind GOLDEN RULE in his penultimate run. He is 7kgs better off at the weights tonight and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. With luck in running, he may be rewarded for consistency.
GOLDEN RULE has improved since joining the Peter Muscutt stable. He won a good race in his penultimate outing over this C&D. Callan Murray is booked to ride and the combination merit healthy respect.
DOWN BY THE RIVER finished 0.6 lengths behind the second choice last time. He is 0.5kgs better off at the weights tonight and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

PHUTULICIOUS stayed on at the finish when fifth over 1000m on this course last time. The distance was always going to be on the sharp side that day. Both his career victories have come over this distance and he takes a drop in class. The son of Fire Away gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Damyan Pillay and he jumps from a good draw of three. He has dropped in the ratings and can return to winning ways.
BEACH PALACE was running on when third over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. He gets the services of 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Jacey Botes which will assist his cause. The son of Potala Palace is one of the leading contenders.

COMIC RELIEF is better than her last start in the Grade 1 Allan Robertson Championship. She returns from an 18-week break and has plenty of scope. If not in need of the outing, she should give a good account of herself.

VISION TO ACHIEVE tried hard when third over this C&D last time. Four of her five career victories have come over this distance. She gets the services of 4kgs claiming Apprentice Dezahn Louw and his riding style may suit her. Another honest run is expected from the daughter of Vercingetorix.
EXOCET ran a fair race in his first run after winning on debut. The son of Mehmas may be at his best over this distance at this stage of his career. If not too green around the turn, he should be competitive.
KINSHIN SHA ran a good race when third over this C&D last time. He was inconvenienced at the 800m mark that day. With luck in running, he would not be a shock winner.

CLICKBAIT followed up her maiden win with a good fourth-place finish over this C&D last time. She raced from just off the pace and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Canford Cliffs jumps from a good draw of two and she may be the one to side with.
