Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday 22nd November where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge
Race 1
QUERARI DANCER is an unraced daughter of Querari from the Justin Snaith stable with JP van der Merwe in the saddle. Her mother, Dancing Queen was a six-time winner from 1000m to 1400m. If not in need of the experience, she should start her career on a positive note.
LAVA STRIKE is a son of Erupt from the Piet and Elbert Steyn yard with Gavin Lerena booked to ride. His mother, Whatalady was a four-time winner from 1200m to 1600m. If not too green in running, he should give a good account of himself.
FYFIELD LEGEND hails from the visiting Kelly Mitchley stable and he is a son of What A Winter. His mother, Vandah’s Spirit won on debut over 1000m. Muzi Yeni will do duty and he may produce a promising showing.
Race 2
DOUBLE GRAND SLAM was given a peach of a ride when winning the Grade 1 Ridgemont Garden Province Stakes last time. She returns from a 20-week break and makes her seasonal debut. She has won twice, finished second twice and third twice from seven starts over this distance. Andrew Fortune retains the ride and the combination should take a power of beating.
RAINBOW LORIKEET was an easy winner in the Grade 2 Bet With The World Gold Bracelet last time. She raced from a handy position and drew clear of the opposition. She is ideally suited to this distance and merits healthy respect.
GIVE ME EVERYTHING is better than her last two starts in KwaZulu-Natal. She returns from a 23-week break which may have done her the world of good. She has won three times and finished third once from five starts over this distance. If jumping on terms, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
Race 3
NANNIE GOLD raced from a handy position over 1400m last time, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Boozy Susie. Her penultimate run when second over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville catches the eye. The daughter of Gold Standard drops back in trip and may be the one to side with in this competitive field.
ONE DANCE has good recent form lines to her name. She drops to 1200m and the blinkers should sharpen her up. Gavin Lerena is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of her where it matters most.
THELEIA ran on strongly when second on debut over this C&D. The daughter of Querari would have gained from the experience and with the natural improvement that is expected, she should be competitive.
Race 4
PINOT GRIGIO fought hard for his last victory over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this distance. Andrew Fortune is booked to ride and if not in need of the run, he can notch up his fourth-career victory.
STRAWBERRY THIEF held on where it matters most when winning her last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. She is in a good space and merits healthy respect.
UMFULA is the stable companion of the second selection. He should have finished closer last time as he had to be switched at the 400m mark. The son of Canford Cliffs is having his peak run and should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
Race 5
SAIL THE SEAS was given a peach of a ride when winning the Grade 2 World Sports Betting Guineas last time. He returns from a 29-week break and is making his seasonal debut. He has won three times from four starts over this distance. The son of Vercingetorix is loaded with class and if not in need of the run, he should find himself in the winner’s enclosure.
SNOW PILOT set the pace over this distance last time, but found one too good in the form of Meu Capitano. He returns from a lengthy 43-week break. The son of Lancaster Bomber is ideally suited to this distance and if fit, he should be competitive.
GREAT PLAINS is another from the powerful Justin Snaith stable. He lost three lengths leaving the start in the Grade 3 Post Merchants last time and never got into the race. The 20-week break may have done him the world of good and on best form shown, he would not be a shock winner.
Race 6
ALL THE RAGE is the best bet on the programme. He won a game race over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. The son of Rafeef is loaded with class and should strip fitter. Aldo Domeyer knows him well and the combination should take a power of beating.
MALMESBURY MISSILE is better than his last start in the Grade 1 World Pool Moment Of The Day Premiers Champion Stakes. He returns from a 17-week break, during which time he would have strengthened up. This outing will bring him on nicely for the Grade 1 Hollywoodbets Cape Guineas.
ROLAND GARROS was caught late when second over 1250m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. The son of Vercingetorix has ability and should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
Race 7
GOOD FOR YOU is one of the better bets on today’s card. He should have finished closer to Vapour Trail in the Grade 3 Cape Classic last time as he hung inwards in the final 400m. The son of Legislate gets a change of headgear which may do the trick. He jumps from a good draw of two and can notch up his third-career victory.
RANDOLPH HEARST finished 0.5 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 2kgs worse off at the weights today. The son of Gimmethegreenlight will love the rise to 1600m and with luck from the widest draw, he should pose a massive threat.
ARISTOCRATIC finished 2.25 lengths behind the top selection in the race referred to above. He too, is 2kgs worse off at the weights. The son of Danon Platina is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be mowing down the frontrunners.
Race 8
TENANGO was running on when second in the Grade 1 Mercury Sprint last time. The son of Canford Cliffs returns from a 17-week break and makes his seasonal debut. He has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. Despite his big mass of 62kgs, he should be too good for this field.
MAI SENSATION ran a fair race in her comeback run over 1000m at Hollywoodbets Durbanville. She would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. The daughter of Rafeef is one of the leading contenders.
CAFE CULTURE raced from a handy position in the Grade 3 Race Coast Matchem Stakes last time, but found one too good in the form of Questioning. The son of Var is a solid back-up for the Lucinda Woodruff stable.
Race 9
CARRIACOU has not finished too far off the winner in his last three starts. He was running on when fifth over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. It is encouraging that Callan Murray retains the ride, and he can notch up his third-career victory.
BLIND DATE finished 0.2 lengths behind the top choice last time. He is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result. He is having his first run as a gelding and should have a say in the outcome of this contest.
SMARTEN UP won a good race at a nice price when shedding his maiden tag over this distance at Hollywoodbets Durbanville last time. The son of Gimmethegreenlight takes on stronger, but he has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.
Race 10
POMP IT UP was his own worst enemy last time as he over raced in the early stages. The son of Danon Platina won his maiden over this C&D in his penultimate outing. He will strip much fitter. He may be the one to side with in this line-up.
RHYDIAN stayed on when second over this C&D last time, but found one too good in the form of Showgirl. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.
TOUCHED BY ANGELS was an easy winner when shedding his maiden tag over this C&D. The son of Hawwaam takes on stronger, but he is a progressive type and can follow up with another victory
