Winning Form selections for racing from Turffontein on Saturday 7th March where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

Race 1

POWER OF PEARLS has consistent form lines to her credit. She set the pace over 1450m last time, but tired late. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. Her previous two efforts over this C&D were good. The daughter of Pathfork may be rewarded for consistency.

DETAILED FORECAST stayed on at the finish over this C&D last time, but found one too good in the form of Traditional Belief. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight is having her peak run and should be cherry-ripe. She has scope and is one of the leading contenders.

ONCEINABLUEMOON ran a good race when second over this C&D last time. Rachel Venniker takes the 1.5kgs off her back once again. The daughter of One World would not be a shock winner.

Race 2

COOL GAMBLER is an unraced son of Hawwaam from the Mike and Mathew de Kock stable with Gavin Lerena in the saddle. He is related to multiple winners including Sparkling Water, Gin Fizz and Spumante Dolce, all of which won on debut. If not in need of the experience, he should start his career on a positive note. The betting market will be the best guide with regards to him and the other unraced entrants.

GREENANDGOLD is a daughter of Gimmethegreenlight from the Sean Tarry stable with Keagan de Melo doing duty. She is related to three-time winner Wonderful. If not too green in running, she should give a good account of herself.

HIGHWAYMAN HARRY ran a good race when second over this C&D last time. The son of Hawwaam has experience on his side and may be the first raced runner past the post.

Race 3

WORLD ATTRACTION was super-impressive when winning on debut over this C&D. He showed good pace and won with a ton in hand. The son of One World would have gained from the experience and he looks to have class about him. Callan Murray retains the ride and the combination can remain unbeaten.

VOLCANIC HEAT is a winner of both her starts, the latest of which was over this C&D. It must be noted that the horses that finished second and third that day have come out and won since. Should the top choice fluff his lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

GIMME VODKA made the expected natural improvement when winning his last start over 1200m at the Vaal. The son of Gimmethegreenlight is a progressive type and must be considered.

Race 4

Trainer Sean Tarry holds a strong hand in this contest and can saddle the first two past the post. GRISELDA made the expected natural improvement when winning her last start over this C&D. She showed a good turn of foot, found another kick and drew off late. The daughter of Erik The Red is a progressive type and she can follow up with another victory.

SECRETARY BIRD was an easy winner of her last start over this distance on the Vaal Classic course. The daughter of Rafeef looks to have class about her and she merits healthy respect.

LANZAROTE showed good improvement when second over this C&D last time. The daughter of Erupt is coming along the right way and would not be a surprise winner.

Race 5

WILLY MEET AGAIN is better than her last start in the Grade 3 Betway London News Stakes. Her penultimate run when second to Choisaanada over this C&D, catches the eye. She is likely to race on the pace from her handy draw of five and may be hard to peg back.

GERBERA has good recent form lines to her name. She was not disgraced when fourth in the Listed TAB Dr Richard Maponya Handicap last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The daughter of One World will be mowing down the frontrunners at the finish.

KISSHOTEN is better than her last start in the Grade 2 Mike de Kock Ipi Tombe Challenge as she was reported to be fatigued. She returns from a 12-week break which may have done her the world of good. On her previous form, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest.

Race 6

HAZY DAZY is the top bet on the programme. She was super-impressive when winning the Grade 2 Wilgerbosdrift Gauteng Fillies Guineas last time. The daughter of Act Of War should be at home over this distance. She is ideally drawn in barrier four and can win the second leg of the Wilgerbosdrift SA Triple Tiara.

CHARGE IT finished 2.1 lengths behind the top choice last time. She won a good race in the Listed War Of Athena Handicap in her penultimate outing over this C&D. She is likely to be settled near the rear of the field from her awkward draw of eight and will be mowing down the frontrunners.

GOLDEN PALM finished 3.1 lengths behind the top selection last time. The daughter of Master Of My Fate tries the 1800m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, she should be competitive.

Race 7

ERROL FLYNN followed up his maiden win with an equally impressive victory over 1600m on this course. He was settled near the rear of the field, showed a good turn of foot and drew clear with ease. The son of Master Of My Fate should love the rise to 1800m. Trainer Joe Soma has a good record in this race, and with Keagan de Melo back in the saddle, he may be up to the task at hand.

JAN VAN GOYEN is better than his last start in the Grade 1 L’Ormarins King’s Plate. He won an impressive race in the Grade 1 Hollywoodbets Cape Guineas in his penultimate effort. The son of Master Of My Fate tries the 1800m for the first time and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he should run a big race.

TRUST was unlucky in his last start as he had to check at the 200m mark. The son of Heavenly Blue should love the rise to 1800m and if all goes according to plan, he should have a say.

Race 8

THE REAL PRINCE ran on from last when third behind SEE IT AGAIN in the Grade 1 WSB Cape Town Met last time. He won a good race in the Grade 1 L’Ormarins King’s Plate in his penultimate outing. The son of Gimmethegreenlight should love racing on this track and if all went well with his travels, he may find himself in the winner’s enclosure.

SEE IT AGAIN ran on powerfully when winning the Grade 1 WSB Cape Town Met last time. Four of his eight career victories have come over this distance. Richard Fourie is booked to ride, and there should not be much separating him and the top choice at the finish.

FIRE ATTACK returned to winning ways over 1800m in the Grade 3 Betway London News Stakes last time. He finished second in his only attempt over this C&D. Calvin Habib knows him well and the combination merit healthy respect.

Race 9

CONSTELLATION is better than his last start in the Grade 1 World Pool Cape Flying Championship. His form prior to that outing was consistent. Two of his four career victories have come over this C&D. He will love the return to the Highveld and may be hard to peg back.

WILLIAM ROBERTSON ran a good race when second over 1160m on this course last time. He has won a Grade 1 over this C&D. The concern is the inside draw but Ryan Munger knows him extremely well, and should give him all the necessary assistance from the saddle.

TRUTH is better than his last start in the Grade 1 World Pool Cape Flying Championship. He finished 0.5 lengths behind TAXI TO THE MOON in his penultimate run. He is 4.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned.

Race 10

MANYELETI is lightly raced with good form lines to her credit. She was reported to be distressed when third over this distance on the Vaal Classic course last time. The daughter of Danon Platina returns from an 11-week break which may have done her the world of good. She has plenty of speed and if not in need of the run, she can return to winning ways.

PRECOCIOUS is a winner of her last three starts and is unbeaten for the Tony Peter stable. The daughter of Ideal World takes another rise in class, but she is in a good space and should be up to the task at hand.

POBLANO took the lead at the 200m mark last time before getting outrun late by Green Diamond. Despite carrying top weight, she merits healthy respect.

Race 11

PRETTY PERSUASIVE is better than her last start in the Grade 2 Wilgerbosdrift Gauteng Fillies Guineas. The daughter of Vercingetorix has won once and finished third twice from as many starts over this C&D. She is likely to be settled near the rear of the field, will be running on strongly and can return to winning ways.

HONG KONG stayed on when second over 1450m on the Inside course last time. She won a good race over 1450m on the Vaal Classic course in her penultimate outing. Gavin Lerena retains the ride and the combination merit obvious consideration.

THAT‘S MY BABY finished 4.3 lengths behind the third selection last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result.

Race 12

CAPE SAFFRON is much better than her last start over 1600m on this course. She had to be steadied at the 600m mark and was reported to have a mouth injury. The daughter of Flower Alley takes a drop in class and has cracked a good draw of four. Jeffrey Syster knows her well and she can notch up her third-career victory.

PRINCESS ILARIA is better than her last two starts. She has won twice and finished third once from five starts over this C&D. On best form shown, she should throw out a big challenge.

QUIET WINTER was running on when third over 1200m on the Vaal Classic course last time. The manner in which she finished off her race that day suggests that she will love the rise to 1400m. With a bit of luck in running, she should have a say in the outcome of this contest
