Winning Form selections for @Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday 8th March where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

GREEK HEIRESS ran a good race when second over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. She raced from a handy position, but found one too good in the form of Spirit Of Shimla. The daughter of Fire Away will enjoy the rise to the mile and if taking to the polytrack, she can go one better.

TAYLOR‘S VERSION is better than her last start at Hollywoodbets Durbanville as she raced wide around the turn without cover. She steps up to the mile and the blinkers have been removed. If taking to this surface, she should pose a threat.

LILTING SONG is the stable companion of the top choice. She lost a length leaving the start over this C&D last time, and stayed on to finish second. If getting away on terms, she can fight out the finish.

Race 2

VAANS SPIRIT showed good improvement when third over 1600m on this course last time. She lost a length leaving the start, but stayed on nicely at the finish. The daughter of Declarationofpeace is a progressive individual and from her good draw of two, she may be the one to side with.

SAUDI SWEEP flyjumped leaving the start last time and was reported to have a mouth injury. She finished third in her only attempt over this C&D. If getting away on terms, she should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.

ANNIE‘S SONG returns from a 12-week break and is having her first run for the Wengesai Masawi stable. She is a filly with scope and if taking to this surface, she can feature.

Race 3

THE MASK has finished second in his last three starts. He stayed on at the finish last time, but found one too good in the form of Who Blinked. The son of Gimmethegreenlight has won over this C&D previously. Chad Little is booked to ride and he may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

IBUTHO was doing his best work late when second over 1400m last time. He has won twice, finished second once and third once from seven starts over this C&D. Should the top choice fluff his lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

WINTER WAVES is better than his last start over 1400m. He has won once, finished second once and third five times from nine starts over this C&D. He will be mowing down the frontrunners at the finish.

Race 4

CONVOCATION showed pace, tried hard but found one too good in the form of Tara Star last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. S’manga Khumalo retains the ride, and the combination can go one better.

BUTTERCUP BABY finished 0.45 lengths behind the top choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

BACK AT THE GEORGE finished 2.1 lengths behind the top selection in the race referred to above. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and she may have to settle for the same result.

Race 5

MAGICAL SKY has good recent form lines to her credit. She lost a length leaving the start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time, finished strongly and was touched off by Captain Ventura. The daughter of Willow Magic won her penultimate outing over this C&D. She takes a drop in class, gets the services of 2.5kgs claiming Apprentice Damyan Pillay and should take a power of beating.

QUEEN‘S PACT is better than her last start as she was reported to be not striding out. She gets the blinkers fitted for the first time and if finding the form of her penultimate run, she should pose a threat.

WHATASTAR won a good race in her local debut over 1200m on this course. She takes on stronger, but is in a good space and should be up to the task at hand.

Race 6

MS GALORE followed up her maiden victory with a creditable sixth-place finish over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She was super-impressive when shedding her maiden tag over 1800m on this course. The daughter of Bezrin drops back in class and it is encouraging that Keagan de Melo sticks with the ride. With a bit of luck in running, she may be the one to beat.

SESAME ran a fair race over 1950m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. She finished second in her only attempt over this distance. Should the top choice fluff her lines, she may be the one to pick up the pieces.

CALL ME HARRIET finished 0.7 lengths behind the second choice last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms today and there should not be much separating them at the finish.

Race 7

CHASING GOLD followed up her maiden victory with a good fourth-place finish over 1950m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She raced from a handy position that day and stayed on at the finish. The daughter of Ideal World will enjoy the return to the polytrack and she has a winning chance.

BANZAI PIPELINE is better than his last start suggests as he was reported to be not striding out. He finished 2.4 lengths behind MOHANDAS in his penultimate effort. He is 3kgs better off at the weights today and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

MOHANDAS was his own worst enemy over 1750m last time as he over raced in the early stages. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. On the form of his penultimate victory on this course, he should be competitive.

Race 8

PROM QUEEN is much better than her last start over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. She should have finished much closer as she was inconvenienced at the 200m mark. She has won once and finished second once from three starts over this C&D. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight runs well for S’manga Khumalo and with luck in running, she can notch up her fourth-career victory.

OPERA FAN took on stronger in her last start over this distance on the Turffontein Inside course. She gets the blinkers fitted which should keep her mind on the task at hand. She is back in a handicap and is one of the leading contenders.

BOOM BOOM has fair recent form lines to her name. She drops back in class and if all went well with her travels, she can earn another cheque for her patrons.

Race 9

RAFIKI finished 0.3 lengths behind FINE DINING last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He is having his peak run and will be cherry-ripe. With a bit of luck in running, he can notch up his fourth-career victory.

RUN TO RIO stayed on when fifth over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. His last victory came at this rating and with Keagan de Melo in the saddle, he is a big runner.

FINE DINING stayed on when second over 1400m on this course last time. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he can finish in the placings
