Winning Form selections for Fairview on Friday 24th April where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter @Hollywoodbets Punters Challenge

RACE 1

CASPERITA took her chances in the Grade 3 Ridgemont Cape Of Good Hope Nursery last time. The daughter of Fire Away was super-impressive when winning on debut over 1000m on the turf. She should love the rise to 1400m and if taking to the polytrack, she should take a power of beating.

OBSIDIAN STAR made the expected natural improvement when winning her last start over 1200m on the turf. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. The daughter of Hawwaam is a progressive type and may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

ON THE OUTSIDE did not go on with the effort over this distance on the turf last time. She has the experience of racing around the turn which stands her in good stead. From pole position, she may be hard to peg back.

RACE 2

AURELIAN is having her first outing in the Eastern Cape for Trainer Kelly Mitchley. It must be noted that the horse that finished second in her last start has come out and won since. The daughter of The United States has scope and if settled into her new surroundings, she can shed her maiden tag in this field.

DELAROCHE was her own worst enemy over 1400m last time as she over raced in the early stages. She drops to 1000m and the blinkers are fitted. If finding the form of her penultimate run on this course, she should pose a threat.

HEY DIDDLE DIDDLE returns from an 11-week break and is having her first run for Dean Smith. The daughter of Rafeef has scope and jumps from a good draw of three. If taking to the surface, she can show good improvement.

RACE 3

MAKE BELIEVE is lightly raced with good form lines to her credit. She tried hard when second over 1200m on this course last time, despite getting injured at the starting gates. The 11-week break may have done her the world of good. The daughter of Canford Cliffs drops to 1000m and if fit, she can notch up her second-career victory.

DETAILED FORECAST won a good race when shedding her maiden tag over 1160m at Turffontein last time. It must be noted that multiple horses from that form line have come out and won since. The daughter of Gimmethegreenlight takes on stronger, but she has plenty of scope and should be up to the task at hand.

SWEET JULIA won a good race over this C&D last time. She returns from a well-deserved 29-week break. The daughter of What A Winter always gives of her best and merits healthy respect.

RACE 4

PRICELESS TREASURE has good consistent form lines to her credit. She has finished second three times and third three times from nine starts on this course. Apprentice Nirvan Nastili takes the 1.5kgs off her back which will assist her cause. She tries the mile for the first time and if switching off early, she may find herself in the winner’s enclosure.

SALAGADOOLA is still a maiden after 16 starts but has fair form lines to her name. She is back against her own sex and with luck from the widest draw, she should pose a threat.

OH MANDY was well-beaten into fourth on the turf last time. She has finished second twice and third six times from ten starts over this C&D. She jumps from pole position and should be competitive.

RACE 5

WISHES AND DREAMS ran a good race when second in the Oaks Plate last time. Despite over racing in the early stages, the manner in which she finished off her race was encouraging. It must be noted that Silvan Mistress has come out and won again since. She has won once and finished second once from as many starts over this C&D. She is having her peak run and may be the one to beat.

AVERNIAN GODDESS has good consistent form lines to her name. She has won twice, finished second once and third once from five starts on this course. The daughter of Vercingetorix is a solid back-up for the Alan Greeff stable.

MONTELENA finished 2.75 lengths behind the second choice last time. She is 2.5kgs better off at the weights today and should finish closer as a result.

Race 6

ANATOLIAN SILVER was not disgraced when fourth in the Non-Black Type Glenlair Trophy last time. His penultimate run when second over 2400m on the turf catches the eye. The son of Futura takes a drop back in class and from his good draw of two, he can notch up his third-career victory.

HOMING PIGEON followed up her maiden victory with a creditable third-place finish in the Non-Black Type East Cape Oaks. The daughter of Hawwaam tries the polytrack for the first time and if taking to the surface, she can go close.

HENRY’S HEDGE stayed on when fourth over 2000m on the turf last time. He finished 5.1 lengths behind the top choice in his penultimate effort. He is 1.5kgs worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result.

RACE 7

KING PRAWN ran a good race when third in the Non-Black Type Fairview Flying Five last time. He was slow into stride and stayed on at the finish. The son of Master Of My Fate would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. He won his only attempt on this course. Richard Fourie steps back into the saddle, and he is the horse to beat.

TINTAMARRE is better than his last start in the Listed East Cape Sprint Cup. Three of his five career victories have come on this course. On best form shown, he may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

FOREST SPY stayed on strongly when second over this distance on the turf last time. Yuzae Ramzan knows him well and if confirming his recent improvement, he can finish in the placings.

RACE 8

HOSPICES DE BEAUNE set the pace over 1600m last time before getting caught late by Kleinzee. He has won once and finished second once from three starts over this C&D. The son of Erupt should get a good run in transit from barrier two and may be hard to peg back.

RHYTHM showed good speed when winning his last start over 1200m on the turf. He received a six-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

TEEREX finished 1.75 lengths behind the second selection last time. He is 1kg worse off at the weights today and may have to settle for the same result
