Winning Form selections for all of races from @Hollywoodbets Greyville on Friday 9th October where there are huge prizes available in the free to enter Punters Challenge

Race 1

DEMBELE took a keen hold on debut over 1400m at Hollywoodbets Scottsville. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. The son of Danon Platina would have gained from the experience. He may be ideally suited to 1000m at this stage of his career, and should have good improvement to come.

GALLIC KING was in need of his first outing for the Mike and Mathew de Kock stable. The son of Vercingetorix may be at his best over further but may enjoy racing on the polytrack. The booking of Keagan de Melo is a big plus.

ENJOY THE RIDE‘S last start is best ignored as he was reported to be not striding out. It must be noted that the horse that finished second that day has come out and won since. On the form of his penultimate run when third over this C&D, he should be involved at the finish.

Race 2

PROPHET showed massive improvement when third in his first outing for Trainer Duncan Howells. The 7yo gelding should have finished much closer to the winner that day. He would have come on from the run and if taking to this track, he can find a form return.

TRAFALGAR SQUARE found one too good in the form of Champagne Mac last time. Three of his eight career victories have come over this C&D. With a bit of luck from the widest draw, he should throw out a big challenge to the top choice.

HAMMER BLOW produced a good first outing for the Kelly Mitchley stable. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. Apprentice Eduan Muller takes the 4kgs off which will assist his cause. If all goes according to plan, he should fight out the finish.

Race 3

DEONARIE is the top bet on the programme. The son of Querari has good form to his credit. He was beaten 1.1 lengths into fourth over this distance at Hollywoodbets Scottsville last time. He returns from a nine-week break, during which time he would have freshened up. He meets the right field and with Keagan de Melo doing duty, he should take a power of beating.

ETZEBETH stayed on when third in his first outing for the Dennis Bosch stable. The son of Erik The Red would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. With a bit of luck in running, he may be the one to fill the exacta spot.

CAPTAIN JOSH has finished fourth in his last two starts over this distance. He gets the cheekpieces fitted which should keep his mind on the task at hand. He is likely to be settled near the rear of the field and will be doing his best work at the finish.

Race 4

CLOSE ENCOUNTER was doing his best work at the finish when third in his stable debut over 1450m on the Turffontein Inside course. It must be noted that Elisa Mbali has come out and won again since. The son of Vercingetorix would have come on from the run and should strip much fitter. He should have no issues with the rise to 2000m and has a solid winning chance.

AFTER THE FIRE has fair recent form to her name. She stayed on when third over this distance on the turf last time. She should get a good run in transit and is one of the leading contenders.

CRIMSON TYPHOON was disappointing in her last start over this distance on the turf. She has finished second once and third once from as many starts over this C&D. Apprentice Qiniso Ngcobo takes the 4kgs off which will assist her cause.

Race 5

STAR OF THE FUTURE stayed on at the finish when sixth over this C&D last time. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He has won once, finished second twice and third once from nine starts on this course. He is having his peak run and from pole position, he can notch up his third-career victory.

SPLASH OF LOVE was an easy winner of her last start over this C&D. She finished 0.1 lengths behind VENCEDOR in her penultimate outing. She is 2kgs better off at the weights this evening and should turn the form around.

VENCEDOR was an easy winner of his last start over 1800m on this course. He received a six-pound penalty for that victory. He is in a good space and merits healthy respect.

Race 6

VIXENS WAR won a good race in her stable debut over this C&D. She raced from a handy position and found extra to keep all challengers at bay. She received a three-pound penalty for that victory. The daughter of Act Of War is in a good space and can follow up.

SILVER SALUTE finished 1.2 lengths behind the top selection last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights this evening and there should not be much separating the pair at the finish.

GALAXY QUEEN is better than her last two starts after returning from a 22-week break as she was reported to be coughing. She has won once, finished second once and third once from five starts over this distance. The daughter of Declarationofpeace is having her peak run and if taking to the polytrack, she would not be a surprise winner.

Race 7

KALI BWANA finished 0.8 lengths behind NAVAJO DANCER last time. She is 4.5kgs better off at the weights this evening and that should be enough to turn the form around. 4kgs claiming Apprentice Qiniso Ngcobo does duty and if jumping on terms, she can return to winning ways.

NAVAJO DANCER was given a peach of a ride when winning his last start over 1200m on this course. He steps up to 1400m and the blinkers are removed. Should the top choice fluff her lines, he may be the one to pick up the pieces.

PLEASEDTOSEEYOU held on when winning his last start over this C&D. The son of Master Of My Fate returns from a well-deserved 12-week break. If not in need of the outing, he should give a good account of himself.

Race 8

OCOTILLO was running on when second over this C&D last time. She finished 3 lengths behind ROY‘S GRACE in her penultimate outing. She is 4kgs better off at the weights this evening and should turn the form around. With a bit of luck from her awkward draw of seven, she can go one better.

POURSOMESUGARONME was touched off in her last start over 1200m on this course. Two of her five career victories have come over this C&D. If getting away on terms, she should be involved at the business end.

RED HOT MISS is better than her last start in the Grade 2 Douglas Whyte Thekwini Stakes. She returns from an 11- week break, during which time she would have strengthened up. The booking of Keagan de Melo is a big plus and if fit, she should produce an encouraging performance
