Round 13 of the URC takes place on the 20th and 21st of March and we keep an eye on all thing betting related.
Bet: Stormers v Dragons

2 units Stormers over 6.5 tries at 19/20 at Pokerbet
The Stormers are -29.5 and this should be one way traffic. Conditions look good albeit a bit windy and points are 56.5. I fancy tries from the home team and plenty of them.
Bet: Sharks v Munster
Posted 21 March 15h16
1 units (1-5) winning margins Sharks by 8-14 at 31/10 at Betxchange
This handicap is currently Sharks -6.5 and while I am leaning to the home team it is not with confidence. The points line is 45.5 and had I got 49.5 I would of gone unders in what looks like being wet conditions.
In the end I will settle on a winning margin play for an interest and am looking for the Sharks by 8-14.
Bet Lions v Edinburgh
Posted 21 March 09h41
2 units (1-5) under 53.5 points at 19/20 at WSB
The Lions have been backed from -10.5 to -13.5 and the points line ranges from 51.5 to 53.5.
It is the points line that catches the eye as the Ellis Park pitch does not hold up to rain like it used to and we have had quite a bit of it this morning. This could get scrappy.
Saturday Morning Betting Update
Posted 21 March 08h35
The Bulls got my weekend off to a decent start comfortably beating the -21.5 handicap in what was a game of 2 halves with 40 points in the 1st half and just 7 in the 2nd.
I never got involved in the other games but I see Connacht upset Ulster away and the Scarlets just beat the -15.5 handicap against Zebre.
All 3 games went under the points line.
Below are the current caps and points, my focus will be on the SA games although I am going to give Glasgow v Leinster a look.
Lions -13.5 v Edinburgh, Points 53.5 – Lions backed from -10.5
Sharks -6.5 v Munster
Benetton -7.5 v Ospreys, Points 46.5
Glasgow +0.5 v Leinster, Points 46.5 – money for Leinster from +3.5 to -0.5
Stormers -29.5 v Dragons, Points 56.5 -Stormers support from -27.5
Bet: Bulls v Cardiff
Posted 19 March 23h24
2 units Bulls -21.5 tat 10/11 at WSB
The Bulls have named a stacked team and will be looking to bounce back after the disappointing loss to the Stormers at home this week. Cardiff are the sort of side they could and should put away.
The points line is 59.5 and if I get involved it will be on Bulls overs at 40.5

Connacht 31–14 Scarlets – I didn’t get involved in this one
Edinburgh 19–40 Ulster – Edinburgh led early but were blown away – no bet for me
Vodacom Bulls 19–32 DHL Stormers – Bulls were awful and all I can recall from this game is a ref who felt the need to explain every decision in great detail. I was on the Bulls -7.5 and over 55.5 and neither was a runner although I was given a sniff of the overs with a late Bulls try but true to the day they dropped the kick off.
LEAGUE TABLE UPDATE
The Glasgow Warriors lead the standings in 1st place with 45 points, having won nine of their twelve matches so far. Just behind them sit Ulster in 2nd and Leinster in 3rd, both on 41 points and firmly positioned among the leading contenders.
From a South African perspective the DHL Stormers are the highest placed local side in 4th position on 40 points, after breaking their losing run against the Bulls.
Completing the top half of the table are Cardiff Rugby in 5th place on 40 points and Munster in 6th on 39 points, both very much in the playoff mix.
The Fidelity ADT Lions currently occupy 7th place with 33 points, keeping them inside the playoff positions, while the Vodacom Bulls sit 8th on 30 points, holding the final playoff spot heading into Round 13.
Further down the table the Hollywoodbets Sharks are currently 11th on 24 points,
