For the final game of the 9th round in the URC, the Bulls are set to face the Lions at Loftus on Saturday, the 27th of January. Here, ‘The Don’ will take a look at the betting odds for the match.

The Bulls

In the Bulls' last five games in the URC, they have secured three victories and suffered two losses. Their victories comprised two comfortable wins with a margin of more than 25 points against the Sharks and Connacht, along with a narrow triumph over Cardiff in a match that concluded 18-12. Both of their losses were in relatively close contests, falling 31-23 to Edinburgh and 26-20 to the Stormers. They currently hold the 6th position on the table after playing 8 games.

Last week they were in Champions Cup action holding on at the death to beat Bordeaux 43-40.

The Lions

In the Lions' last five games in the URC, they have achieved an impressive record of four wins and only one loss. Their victories included close wins against both the Sharks and the Scarlets, as well as two very comfortable triumphs over the Dragons and Zebre. The lone defeat occurred against Ulster away in a game that concluded 24-17. This places them in the 11th position on the table as they head into their 9th game.

The Lions were disappointing in the Challenge Cup last week blowing a big lead to lose to Ospreys at home.
