Aston Villa v West Ham – Click here to bet

Aston Villa have taken 3 points from their opening 3 games thanks to a 2-1 home victory over Everton. They face a West Ham side that is sitting bottom of the table after 3 successive defeats including a 1-0 away defeat to Nottingham. West Ham have yet to score a goal in 3 matches and in this time they have conceded 5. West Ham did the double over Aston Villa last season and won this fixture 4-1.

Although West Ham have been struggling for goals, Villa games have had goals in them and the last two matches have delivered for over 2.5 goal backers and looking at the head-to-head form, the last 4 head-to-heads between the sides have had 3 goals or more in them.

Suggested Bet: Over 2.5 goals at 17/20

Wolves v Newcastle United – Click here to bet

Wolves are still looking for their first win with 1 draw and 2 losses in their opening 3 games. Their only home match was a goalless draw at home to Fulham. The Wolves matches are only averaging 1.33 goals each so far this season.

Newcastle are 6th on the log and undefeated after 3 matches, but they would have had mixed feelings after their 3-3 home draw against City last time out. They led 3-1 early in the second-half and while disappointed to let City back in, a point at home to the Champions is certainly something to be proud of. Their only away game was a goalless draw at Brighton.

I saw enough of Newcastle against West Ham to think they could be challenging for a Top 4 spot this season and I am taking them to bag the 3 points here.

Suggested Bet: Newcastle United win at 17/10

Nottingham v Tottenham – Click here to bet

Nottingham are 10th on the table with 4 points from their opening 3 matches. Their only home game was a 1-0 victory over West Ham. They face a Tottenham side currently sitting 3rd on the table, undefeated with 7 points from a possible 9. Those 2 dropped points came away at Chelsea in their second match.

I am not expecting Tottenham to steamroll Nottingham, but I do think they will get the win and I am going to back them to win by exactly 1 goal.

Suggested Bet: Handicap, Nottingham +1, the draw at 27/10
