The Pretoria Capitals are assured of playing in the semi-finals and they take on the Durban Super Giants at Centurion Park on Sunday night. We take a look at the game from a betting angle.
The Pretoria Capitals have won 6 and lost 2 of their 8 matches and they are 8 points clear at the top of the table with two matches left to play.
The Durban Super Giants only have a mathematical chance of progressing to the last 4. They have won 3, lost 5 and have had one no result in their 9 matches.
This is likely to be the end of their contribution to the Tournament.
The Pretoria Capitals are currently trading at 9/4 favourites while the Durban Super Giants can be backed at 14/1.

PRETORIA CAPITALS
The Pretoria Capitals put an end to MI Cape Town’s hopes in this Tournament on Saturday with a nail-biting 1 wicket win off the very last ball of the match.
The Capitals had won the toss and had elected to field first and they restricted MI Cape Town to 159 all out with the wickets been fairly evenly shared amongst the bowlers although the pick of the bowlers for me was James Neesham with his 2 for 26 off 4 overs. Unfortunately they lost Wayne Parnell to an injury as he started his 3rd over with his figures at that point 2.1 overs, 1 for 3.
The Capitals chased down the runs on the final ball, but they certainly missed Jacks at the top of the order. Rilee Rossouw top scored with a whirlwind 40 off 19 balls and there was also a good contribution from Mendis at the top of the order with 39 off 25.
DURBAN SUPER GIANTS
The Durban Super Giants last action was on Friday night where they shared the points with Sunrisers Eastern Cape after rain stopped play. The Super Giants had sent the visitors into bat and the match was delicately poised with the Sunrisers 53 for 3 after 5.2 overs. Reece Topley had been the pick of the Super Giants bowlers at that point with 2 for 20 off his 2 overs.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
These sides met in Durban back in match 15 where the Durban Super Giants were bowled out for just 80 runs and the Pretoria Capitals won by 8 wickets and with over 12 overs to spare.

Pretoria Capitals 8/10
Durban Super Giants 21/20
Suggested Bet: Durban Super Giants win at 21/20
With the job done for the Pretoria Capitals I am expecting they might drop their guard a bit allowing the Super Giants in for victory.
Suggested Bet: Pretoria Capitals Top Bowler, Anrich Nortje at 2/1
Nortje looked at his fiery best in Saturday’s game against MI Cape Town and was once again amongst the wickets and has proven profitable to follow in this market.
Suggested Bet: Durban Super Giants Top Batsman, Quinton de Kock at 31/20
De Kock looked back to his best in the last couple of matches and I reckon he is really going to enjoy the Centurion Park Track.
Suggested Bet: Most 6’s, Durban Super Giants at 23/20
This market is evenly priced and I fancy the Giants to win the game and also going to back them to clear the ropes the most times.
