The Joburg Super Kings host MI Cape Town in the penultimate Round Robin match of the SA T20 Series and while the game may only be of academic importance as far as the log goes there are still betting opportunities.
The Joburg Super Kings currently sit 2nd on the log, 5 points behind the Pretoria Capitals with both teams having a game to play. If I am reading the table correctly the Super Kings can finish no better than 2nd and no worse than 3rd and so will be playing their semi-final at Centurion Park.
Bookmakers have now priced the Joburg Super Kings 5/2 joint favourites with the Pretoria Capitals to win the Tournament. MI Cape Town are bottom of the table and their semi-final hopes have disappeared.

JOBURG SUPER KINGS
The Joburg Super Kings last action was at home to the Sunrisers Eastern Cape and after winning the toss they elected to bat first eventually reaching 160 for 6 which looked a bit disappointing given the incredible start which was given by Faf du Plessis who scored 92 off 61 balls. Reeza Hendricks also contributed with 40 off 36 in a 119 first wicket partnership and once again his innings took a long time to get going.
Sunrisers Eastern Cape were always under pressure on a tricky wicket and in the end reached 136 for 9. Kyle Simmonds took 3 for 23 off his 4 overs and Theekshana, Coetzee and Shepherd each bagged two wickets.
MI CAPE TOWN
MI Cape Town’s last action was away at the Pretoria Capitals, a match they simply had to win to stay alive in the competition.
The Pretoria Capitals won the toss and decided to field first restricting MI Cape Town to 159 all out off 19.4 overs. Rassie van der Dussen was the best performing batsman on the day with 51 off 29 balls.
The Pretoria Capitals managed to chase the runs down off the very last ball and with just 1 wicket in hand. All of the bowlers got amongst the wickets, but the two stand-outs were Sam Curran with his 3 for 26 off 4 overs and Rashid Khan with 1 for 17 off 4 overs.

Joburg Super Kings 15/20
MI Cape Town 1/1
The Joburg Super Kings will be keen to carry momentum into the semi-finals, but I am going to steer clear of betting on the match result and going to look at some of the other markets on offer.
Suggested Bet: MI Cape Town Top Bowler, Kagiso Rabada at 39/20
Rabada has been bowling well without any spectacular performances and I fancy him to get amongst the wickets on a Wanderers track that will hopefully suit him.
Suggested Bet: Joburg Super Kings Top Bowler, Maheesh Theekshana at 85/40
I have been very impressed with his bowling and all the variations he brings to the party. At some point the MI Cape Town side will try to get after him and this is when wickets can tumble.
